Here’s a Blue Cure that probably needs no introduction thanks to the multiple memes surrounding this character. It’s Cure Marine, alias Kurumi Erika. Being the president of the formerly faltering fashion club, Erika is a rather brash, extroverted, and immature girl with a high passion for dresses and styles. Despite being a Blue Cure, Erika has most of the exact opposite traits one would normally expect from her color peer group. She is quite impatient, hyperactive, and extremely expressive. In fact, Erika is probably the most expressive Cure to date, often sporting some unusual acts or facial appearances with most of her reactions, making her a walking meme generator. The only Cure who came anywhere close is a fairytale loving lass with her bad luck streak. This easily makes her one of, if not, the funniest and entertaining Cures. Although this probably her most notable trait, as Optimus Prime would say: “There’s actually more than what meets the eye.” Erika’s fashion passion stems from her idolizing her mother, who was a former model. She and her older sister, Momoka, both hoped to become a model but it was the latter who was able to achieve that dream and at a very young age. Jealousy and low self-esteem was built up throughout the years in Erika, which probably influenced her impetuous and childish personality, eventually making her Sasorina’s first victim. Fortunately, the two sisters were able to realize their feelings for each other and recognize each other’s traits beyond of what they are jealous of. Although Erika initially appears to be nosy with no sense of personal space, she’s actually a very sociable, friendly, and very open to other people’s thoughts, hence why she was not only able to be friends with someone as shy as Tsubomi, she was also able to find other members for her fashion club very quickly (That and she bribed them). In fact, it was thanks to being with Tsubomi and a battle with her mirage self, she eventually learns to cools down and becomes more easygoing, flexible and less aggressive as a result.
As a Pretty Cure, Marine is an unusual aggressive fighter for a Blue Cure. Where most Blue Cure would normally think before they act, Cure Marine prefers to charge at her foes dead straight. She had a way easier time being a Pretty Cure than Blossom and is pretty athletic too. Her abilities are all centered on water and much like her Pink partner, she can develop many creative techniques such as the Marine Impact, Marine Shoot, and the Marine Dynamite. Much like how Blossom’s most infamous move is attacking her foes with her rear, Marine tackles her enemies head on, literally, with the Pretty Cure Forehead Punch. She was renowned for her headbutts, until a happy child showed up. She’s has one of the largest arsenal of moves for a Blue Cure.
Despite a select few not being fond of her initial invasive nature, Erika’s mold breaking characteristics and sheer hilarity with some character growth on the side has made her an easy fan-favorite in Heartcatch and even after all these years, she’s still arguably one of the most popular Cures ever. She may have her limit, despite having a heart as wide as an ocean, but the love the audience have for this character certainly doesn't and it's arguably deeper than Pacific’s Challengers Deep as well.

Name: Aono Miki AKA Cure Berry

Miki is second member of the Fresh Precure Squad. Oppose to most Blues Cures and Cure teams in general, she, Love, and Buki where already friends before they even became Cures and they go to completely different schools, giving us an unique friendship dynamic. She lives with her mother, who is a hairstylist, while her brother, Kazuki, lives with her father due to her parents being divorced. Despite this, Miki remains really close to her brother. Kazuki does as well, into the point he…..agree to pretend to be her boyfriend so all the guys attracted to her wouldn’t ask her out or distract her. One must keep in mind that Pretty Cure has occasionally spawned some rather odd relationships. Anyway, the reason for this is because Miki wishes to be a model and she believes the only way to achieve that is perfection. Miki’s a perfectionist, always giving everything a triple A plus, and her catchphrase is even “____(Usually “I’m”) perfect.” Because of this, a certain episode about trying to gain her own Cure Stick, and still believing that Setsuna is the enemy after her revealing herself, she pretty much became the least popular member of the Fresh group among the fandom. However, she was able to make up for many of these. For one, despite her overachieving nature, Miki is still a genuine nice and caring individual, willing to drop one of her opportunities to become a model just to back up Love and Buki. She absolutely took back about what she said about Setsuna after witnessing her battle with Peach and even tried to bond with her, which she succeeded but not without exposing her greatest fear.....octopuses (Please….don’t make that joke). When she lost the Clover Box, she was the most restless among the Cures to look for it, so it shows that she acknowledges her priorities and owns up to her mistakes.
As a Pretty Cure, Cure Berry is the most elegant among the team. According to the data training grid, she specializes in kicking, a stark contrast to the Pink leader of the group, Peach, who utilizes punches. (Sounds familiar?) Her attacks consist of Espoir Shower and Espoir Shower Fresh, which behaves similarly to Peach’s Lovely Sunshine and Lovely Sunshine Fresh, respectively. Fresh, unfortunately, isn’t that great with attack variation either. Still, Berry manage to put a little twist with her Espoir Shower Fresh by pretending to initiate the attack and throwing it in the air, misdirecting her foes in the process. This shows that she's a great improviser.
Overall, Miki isn’t perfect as she claims to be but she’s still a good character that proven to be a considerate individual. She's a member that one can at least appreciate in the end since she was still able to make up for her mishaps after a certain episode that happened prior. Just enough to get herself out of a jam.

The reason why is because everyone in my family is yelling and my brother broke my headphones that I broke on accident earlier, now I have nothing to listen to music to! And now my parents are treating me like a pile of garbage, my brother's pretty much a flower... I don't know what to do! *cries in the rain while shivering, due to the rain being cold*
I hope that when Healin Good comes out, I can watch it as it's airing, so I thought maybe a good way to keep on track would be to do reviews for the episodes for you guys? They probably won't be the best in the whole universe, but it would be good practice. Let me know what you guys think. If you think it's a good idea, I'll be sure to do it when it comes out. (Of course, I'm watching other shows as well so I have a pretty jam packed cartoon schedule haha)
Congrats people peace out people ✌️😁

Name: Minazuki Karen AKA Cure Aqua
Season: Yes! Pretty Cure 5 and Yes! Pretty Cure 5 Gogo!

Here, we arrive at our first official blue Cure, Karen Minazuki. She’s Komachi’s best (and formerly only) friend and the student council president of L'Ecole des Cinq Lumières, who famous for her extreme intelligence and being quite accomplished for her age. (Get used to seeing this from here on out) She’s also extremely wealthy, even possessing her very own beach resort, due to her parents being world-acclaimed musicians. However, due to the fact her parents always travelling, she spends most of her life being raised by her butler, Sakamoto. With such a large mansion and very few people to associate with, she has abit of a lonely side but remains calm and collected to hide this feeling while believing she can’t depend on anyone, which lead to probably her most infamous moment: she failed to become a Pretty Cure the first time around. Despite this, she’s still the first Blue Cure, though the only one to have this issue. In her debut, Karen is probably the most serious Cure prior to Heartcatch’s Yuri. She’s pretty much a no nonsense type of girl, is rather strict, and when she gets upsets, she definitely doesn’t sugar coat her words. But overtime, thanks to her new found friends, she was able to lighten up, into the point she’s no stranger to the season’s humorous moments and even cracking a (very bad) joke. She later decides to become a doctor, a revelation that likely started after she nursed and guarded Milk, who was ill. Speaking of which, she also happens to have a unique bond with Milk. This is due to Milk's admiration of her maturity and grace. She also has an interesting rivalry with Rin,
As a Pretty Cure, Aqua is the most strategic and skilled member of the Yes Cures, the third Cure to use her brain over brawn, and the first of the long line of blue Cures to do such. She wields the power of water, which allows her to execute her Aqua Stream attack. This attack is later upgraded into Aqua Tornado after obtaining the Aqua Ribbon and it…….looks exactly the same. It’s probably worth noting that in Yes! 5, any Cure not named Dream pretty much have the exact same attack, visually speaking, after getting their upgrades. This is mostly due to either production costs or make up for how underwhelming the Dream Attack is. So yeah, most of you thought it was Star Twinkle where the lack of variation in the Cure’s solo attack started in but it was this season, Yes! Pretty Cure 5. Still, Aqua got the better end of the deal since she can use her Aqua Ribbon to create a blade of compressed water energy, wielding energy swords before Gogo made it cool. Speaking of Gogo, she also gains a new attack called Sapphire Arrow, where she creates a bow made of water and fire several water arrows, making her the first archer in the franchise’s long series of such.
For being the founder of Blue Cures, Karen did not disappoint and while not the most famous one, she’s still one of the more notable Blue Cures to date. Some may be turned off by her initial stoic and harsh personality, but make no mistake, this intelligent spring water is anything but shallow.
