I'm only against the misuse of AI, such as this one. It's hypocritical for fandom to say they value their fans when they would rather have AI over people who know the language to translate pages. (which must be insulting to them.)
There are tools with AI created to help those with disabilities, but not all AI are designed with that in mind. I wish more companies would implement AI in practical ways, rather than this.
I'm glad Toei is putting more effort into marketing Precure outside Japan. Also, I don't see anywhere that mentions a Precure dub on here?
Fandom is too disconnected with their community to even think of publishing this blog....
Probably another yuribait duo to please the older audience. They usually never go further than the implications.
Besides the first seasons I watched, I also feel nostalgic about Wonderful.
It's the first season in recent years that I haven't gotten bored with. Kimi to Idol isn't bad, but I have a hard time keeping interest. I genuinely loved Wonderful, even if it received a mixed reception.
Interesting! I'm one of the few who wasn't disappointed that Satoru never became a cure. I enjoyed how the writers wrote his role as a support. It was refreshing not to have additional cures this season, but it's still sad their idea was rejected. Possibly this concept can be revisited in a novel sequel?
I was surprised they considered theming the cures on the four seasons because I used that exact concept for my animal-themed fan Precure series. I created it before Wonderful, too lol. That would explain why Nyammy has a snow motif.
I love the amount of thought and passion put into this season. :D
I'm nostalgic for the first seasons I watched but not the recent ones. I kind of miss the days when the Eng fanbase was smaller. We had to rely on fansubs because only a few seasons were available on streaming.
I could understand where Yuki was coming from. Her protective behavior towards Mayu was out of fear of her being betrayed. Her behavior isn't completely justifiable, but it makes sense to me. Yuki is very popular, so it's interesting to see from other perspectives. I don't hate Yuki, but I preferred the other members over her, too.
Meroron is similar to her in a way, but I have a hard time sympathizing with her situation. Maybe within more time I'll come around to liking her.
I do if it's justifiable or makes sense from their upbringing. Not every person is nice, and I like that being represented in Precure. The only exceptions for me are Milk and Meroron because they're so intolerable. I love Milk in GoGo and Otona, though.
Lillian and Milky not being 'green enough.' I saw someone saying Zukyoon looked more green than Lillian despite 80% of her design being white...
People say that Precure is 'underrated'. Maybe its underrated in the English anime fandom, but definitely not in the magical girl community.
The idea that a dub will instantly make Precure blow in popularity. Bocchi the Rock is a popular anime, yet it has no dub. There are also dubbed anime that still go unnoticed. What Toei needs to do is market the franchise more overseas.
Pretty Holic episodes, they're just adveristments. I know the whole anime is an merchandise ad but at least transformation devices are relevant to the plot.
Some fans calling Princession Orchestra a knock-off yet complain when Precure is called a Sailor Moon clone...
Finally, a Nana focus episode since...episode 9...
Meroron is ruining my enjoyment of the season a little. I wish she would change her ways soon. Her taking advantage of Purirun's obliviousness rubs me the wrong way.
Maybe... I want to see more sides of their relationship that aren't Meroron obsessing over Purirun, even if that means arguing.
More seasons without physical combat.
Genki pink cures.
Male cures.
Large teams like KiraKira and Yes 5 GoGo.
Food-themed seasons.
Cures with simpler designs like Wonderful or Futari Wa.
Ebay because I don't live near stores selling Precure merch, sadly.
She was never meant to be a green cure in the first place. Her theme color is rainbow with turquoise as a sub color.
She's very popular in Japan, idk about here.
Agreed. Just imagine how cool a black cure with actual black hair would look.
I don't ship Nagisa and Honoka romantically. Not because it's yuri because I like many yuri ships, I just prefer them as best friends.
I'm convinced Toei is choosing only popular seasons to collaborate. Mahou Tsukai was chosen instead of Delicious Party last year, despite the latter being more recent. Before that, Heartcatch and Yes 5 collaborated in films. The one thing these seasons have in common is that they're extremely popular.
I'm not hating a season for being popular, but it's clear Toei has a bias towards those seasons. (and outside films too, but that's a topic for another day.)
