Aida Kentaro (相田健太郎, Aida Kentarō^?) is a minor character who appears in Doki Doki! Pretty Cure. He is Mana's father, and the chef at their restaurant "Buta no Shippo".

Appearance

He has pink hair which is sometimes worn underneath a chef's hat, and has pink eyes. He usually wears a chef's outfit consisting of a white and purple top, a apron, purple pants, and black shoes.

History

Etymology

Aida (相田, Aida^?): Ai (相) means "togetherness", while da (田) means "field". Ai could also indicate "love" (愛), "Aida" (間) as a common phrase, means "in between".

Kentaro (健太郎, Kentaro^?): Ken (健) meaning "healthy, strong", Ta (太) meaning "thick, big" and Rou (郎) meaning "son".

Trivia

• He has the same hairstyle as Hojo Dan from Suite Pretty Cure♪.
