Bio
Appearance
Bel is an elderly man who has a gray beard and mustache, with his hair combed backward. He wears black sunglasses, and a black coat with green lining. His eye color is olive.
As a mouse, he has grey fur, and two bat wings on the side of his body. He retains his black sunglasses.
When disguised as Joe in episode 39, he looks just like the latter, but he still dons his scarf. His apron is also the color of his jacket and its pockets look like corrupted Psyches.
Personality
Bel is an extremely lazy and cocky person who does not enjoy doing any work himself and would rather send Marmo and Ira to do all the dirty work. Despite his seemingly calm and cool demeanor, it has been shown that he has a sadistic side, as shown when he tries to torture Cure Heart by taking Ai hostage and thus making her unable to fight back, or when he sets up a trap for Mana and Regina trying to make one of them betray the other and let her fall into the lava.DDPC21 He also has no qualms about killing other members, namely Leva and Gula, and instead takes joy in their painful deaths.
Relationships
- Marmo and Ira: His colleagues and subordinates. Bel is very bossy and strict towards them, but neither Ira nor Marmo can stand his lazy and cruel attitude.
- Regina: His boss. Bel dislikes Regina for her bratty and childish antics and is also bitter about her bossing him around.
- Leva and Gula: His colleagues. Bel dislikes them, and he takes pleasure when he gets the chance to kill them for his own selfish gain.
Etymology
Bel is named after Belphegor, the demon who represents "sloth".
