2nd season (2nd story) of Dancing Star Pretty Cure.
February-March, 2025.
By the way, I haven't seen 1st season (theatrical stage playing) yet, but I'd like to rent the DVD and watch it someday.
Story digest of last year's performance:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ab2Shmd2BS0
the cast and staff remain the same.
Some of the Pretty Cure singers and voice actors who were not directly involved in this production also seemed interested and went to see this stage play (2023) at their own expense.
It seems that it was well received by them as well.

If you been a user since October of 2023, you may remember a series I did called Random Pretty Cure Color Swaps, a series where I would take two cures and colorswap them! There would've been 39 parts, but I've only done 6 of them...and I've stopped. Why did I stop? Uh...Idk.
Anyways TL:DR I'm bringing RPCCS back!
For the 6 previous parts:

By the way, the Komugi, Yuki, Daifuku, and Mey Mey keychains will likely continue to be sold next year and beyond.
P.S.
By the way, Inori (Cure Pine from 2009 Fresh Pretty Cure) goes to a Christian (Catholic) missionary school, but there are a lot of misunderstandings about this among you, so I will explain it later as an another discussion post. For now, the gist of it is that in Japan, you can go to a Christian school regardless of your religion. As long as it is not an educational institution that trains clergy, you can go to a religious school in Japan regardless of your religion. Of course, it is up to the private school to decide who can go.
He guys, I just heard the news on YGOrganization that they announced the singers for the opening and ending songs of Yu-Gi-Oh! GO Rush Season 3. And you're in for a surprise because one of the singer is none other than Nanase Ayaka, the beautiful voice actress who voices our Wonderful adult Cure, Hijiri Ageha/Cure Butterfly from Hirogaru Sky! Precure!! WOW!! 😍💗😍💗😍💗😍💗

Guys I'm gonna make a second account so I can be more active in this Fandom
I hope yall don't mind 😀
Cure Friendy /Iroha INUKAI and Cure Puca/Puca.
Atsumi TANEZAKI play their voices.
↑Atsumi TANEZAKI (September 27, 1990)
An interview with her about Pretty Cure Franchise was published in the Anime Net Newspaper on March 10th at 7:21am (Japan time, UTC+9), so I'll try to translate it to some extent.
-----
-----
About Pretty Cure series:
Tanezaki:
At first I was surprised, thinking, ``Is it okay for me to audition for a Precure for the TV series next year?'' because I had already played a non-regular Precure at 2023 Pretty Cure movie.
So I was even more surprised when I was selected as one of them.
During the recording period for Puca's voice in Pretty Cure All Stars F, an audition for the voice actress for Wonderful Precure was held and I passed.
A series of things that surprised me continued. But at that time, I felt strongly that I had to fulfill the role of ``Puca'', a really cute and wonderful character who had already become an important and beloved character to me.
Once the release period of the movie Pretty Cure All Stars F ends, Puca's existence will not end there.
Even after the audio recording for the movie ends, and even after the movie's release period ends, Puca will always be an important person in my heart.
It didn't really feel like I had been chosen to be Iroha/Cure Friendy until the end of the audio recording for the movie and the beginning of recording for the TV series.
But once the recording of Wonderful Pretty Cure started, of course I started playing her with all my might.
As I played her in the dubbing for the first episode, I gradually began to realize that I would be playing her from now on.
And when I saw the preview of the first episode, and when I heard Iroha's voice,
I was able to really feel that ``Ah, we're all going to spend a long time creating our own Pretty Cure work...''.
Then I was filled with joy all at once and burst into tears.
I'm from the generation that watched Sailor Moon.
That's why I didn't watch Pretty Cure when I was a kid.
(She was 13 years old when the first episode of "Futari wa PreCure" began airing in 2004. Compared to the Sailor Moon series, the PreCure series has a lower target age.)
Therefore, until I joined the PreCure series as Puca,
My impression of PreCure was that ``Pretty Cure works and Precure warriors are sparkling, cute, and girls' dreams.''
However, the Precures I saw in the movie PreCure All Stars F were not only cute, but also extremely cool and extremely passionate.
Through my appearance in PreCure All Stars F, my impression of the PreCure series and its characters completely changed. Not only are they cute and sparkly, but they are also overwhelmingly cool, and I can understand why the children who are the viewers not only love them but also yearn for them.
When I was a child, I also admired Sailor Moon and wanted to be her.
That's why I completely understand why children are so obsessed with the anime PreCure series and PreCure characters.
I haven't seen a PreCure show with mascot costumes in front of my eyes yet, so I'd like to see children who are obsessed with PreCure in person soon.
If I were to see children who are passionate about Pretty Cure, I feel like I would have even more feelings towards Pretty Cure.
It's been 20 years since Pretty Cure started.
Various Pretty Cure characters have appeared so far, but I once wondered how children view the characters changing from series to series.
However, no matter how many new Precure characters become, there is a belief that does not change, and because there is something in common that children can fall in love with, I think that Pretty Cure series has continued to exist for over 20 years.
Also, I never saw a mascot costume show when I was a kid. In that sense, I have a strong admiration for it, so I want to release that feeling now.
No matter what role you play, ``Nervousness, pressure, and responsibility override the joy of being chosen to play a character.
I always feel pressure at work.
But I'm trying not to think too much about the pressure of playing a new work that's starting its 21st year with the 20 years of the PreCure series on my shoulders.
Because although PreCure is a series, each work is also original.
In addition, Precure works, including Wonderful Precure, are not created by me alone, but by everyone including myself.
----
About Iroha/Cure Friendy.
Tanezaki:
Personally, I tend to think that there are people in this world that I just can't get along with, but Iroha doesn't think so.
She genuinely wants to get along with everyone.
She wants to look at everyone, walk straight up to them, and get along with everyone, whether it's a person or an animal.
So when I play her, I try to have the feeling of "Everyone is doing well! Everyone is good friends! Wonderful!"
And just like her, I play her with the intention of moving rather than thinking.
In fact, during the dubbing for this work, I may have moved more than ever during the dubbing (laughs).
----
About Maria NAGANAWA (VA who plays Komugi/Cure Wonderful):
Tanezaki:
Komugi, played by Naganawa-san, is really wonderful and cute!
When I hear her voice, I feel like doing whatever Komugi wants me to do for her.
I'm glad that she believes in us and brings us all kinds of plays, and I look forward to every recording session.
Naganawa-san, as Komugi, does her best to express her feelings of ``I love you'' to me, so I can also be the character of Iroha.
Komugi can now talk.
The episode hasn't aired on TV yet, but she will start attending school after episode 9 and will continue to grow as she interacts with people.
I love Komugi so much that I'm already imagining things like ``Will I be happy with her growth or will I feel lonely?'' and I'm crying because I'm moved by what she'll look like in the future. lol)
----
About the dubbing of the transformation scene and Shinya TAKAHASHI, Gargaru's voice actor:
Tanezaki:
I'm always nervous about the dubbing of the transformation scene because it's so important.
TAKAHASHI Shinya-san, who plays Garugaru, has been working with me ever since I just made my debut, and I've been receiving advice from him on dubbing up until now.
It's no exaggeration to say that I've been able to survive in the voice acting industry thanks to Shinya-san.
At the end of the recording of the second episode where Iroha-chan transforms into Cure Friendy, he said to me:
"Acchan, Finally, you became a Precure too..."
(Acchan is a nickname of Atsumi Tanezaki)
When I had been playing Puca, I had never experienced typical transformation scene as Precure character.
So, for the first time in the dubbing of episode 2, I properly dubbed the long transformation scene that is broadcast almost every episode.
So when Shinya-san, who has been taking care of me for a long time at work, said those words to me, I realized that I was able to become a Precure.
He has seen all of my plays since I just made my debut, so you could say he knows everything about my plays, both good and bad (laughs).
No matter what I do in my acting, Shinya-san will understand it, so I'm nervous when I'm in the same studio with him for dubbing. But it's really reassuring to have him on the same scene, and I'm happy to be able to create works together.
I hope someday I can say to him, ``I'm getting used to dubbing transformation scenes.''
----
Tanezaki:
When I play a Precure, I sometimes feel a ``Precure-ness''.
For example, when Komugi tries to eat a gummy bear when she's a dog (Episode 3), if I don't scold her properly, the kids watching the anime might imitate her with their own pets.
So when I'm dubbing these lines, I say them to Komugi, but I feel like I'm also saying them to the children somewhere.
So when I, as Iroha, warn Komugi, I may be a little more strict with her than usual.
I don't think I've ever done something so naturally and consciously. I'm not really conscious of it, but I've always been conscious of children somewhere. That may also be unique to the work Precure.
-----
Her Future Enthusiasm:
Tanezaki:
Pretty Cure is all over Japan, and Precure-related products are lined up at supermarkets and electronics retailers.
When we found it, the cast members told each other, ``I found it in that place!'' The atmosphere on set was very warm, and you could tell that everyone cared about the work.
I love such a warm space.
I'm really happy and looking forward to the fact that all of us will be able to spend a long time together creating an anime called "Wonderful Precure!".
Just like when I was a child and now that I'm an adult, I've always had Sailor Moon in myself, so if the day comes that Cure Wonderful and Cure Friendy will be in someone's heart in the future,
I couldn't be happier it more.
I would like to continue to work hard to make this possible.

As you know, Pretty Cure Pretty Store is an official Pretty Cure series store with four locations (current number of permanent stores) in Japan.
The current PreCure Pretty Store permanent stores are as follows.
・Osaka main store…
Although this is the second Pretty Store store, it is called the ``main store'' and ``flagship store'' because it is located near the headquarters of Asahi Broadcasting, the biggest sponsor and broadcaster of the Toei Animation PreCure series.
The largest permanent store in area. A Cure Ale mannequin has been permanently displayed at the store entrance since 2018.
・Tokyo store…
The memorable first Pretty Store store. Although this store is the smallest of the four stores, it has the largest number of customers among the four stores due to its convenient location in the middle of Tokyo.
・Yokohama store…
A store located in Yokohama, one of the main battlefields of the PreCure All Stars series. It is located on the 8th floor of a high-rise building in front of Yokohama Station, a key transportation hub.
It is larger than the Tokyo store and Koshigaya Lake Town store.
・Koshigaya Lake Town store
This is the latest permanent store that opened in February 2024. The third PreCure Pretty Store in the Kanto region after Tokyo and Yokohama.
The Koshigaya Lake Town store, which had been in existence since February 2023 (a one-year limited store to celebrate the Pretty Cure series 20th anniversary), was promoted to a permanent store due to strong sales.
------
Today I would like to provide news about PreCure Pretty Store.
①Pretty Cure Pretty Store Tokyo will be closed for more than two months from April due to expansion construction.
Last business day is April 7, 2024. Starting April 8, 2024, our Tokyo store will be temporarily closed for over two months to undergo store expansion construction.
The reopening date has not yet been determined, but the Tokyo store has the highest sales among all Pretty Stores, so it will definitely not close. It will probably restart in June.
By the way, I think the reason for the expansion is that ``despite being a popular store, the aisles are too narrow for more than 3 people to walk side by side''.
↑March 3rd 16:00. The inside of Pretty Store Tokyo is small, so it's common to see children and mothers entering the store, and fathers entering the store entrance... on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
↑As you can see from this photo, it is barely possible for two people to pass each other in the aisle.
In some cases, staff may prohibit strollers from entering the Tokyo store or restrict entry.
I might go to the Yokohama store and report there instead.
I hope that Pretty Store Tokyo will be a better store in late spring or early summer when the construction is finished and it reopens!
By the way, I might go tomorrow, but if there are any character products you'd like to see, please let me know. lol
②Pretty Store Nagoya (Nagoya store, limited time store) may be promoted to a permanent store.
A temporary Pretty Store store will open in Nagoya from April 19, 2024 to February 2025.
This Nagoya store, like the Koshigaya Lake Town store mentioned above, may be promoted to a permanent store if sales results are good.
Nagoya is the fourth most populous municipality in Japan after Tokyo, Yokohama, and Osaka. The current population is 2.32 million.
Nagoya is located between Tokyo/Yokohama and Osaka/Kyoto.
By the way, most of Toyota's cars are distributed around the world from Nagoya Port, which is the international trade port closest to the company's headquarters factory.

The entrance of Pretty Store Osaka Main Store:

It has been announced that TORIYAMA Akira-sensei, the original author (manga artist) of Dragon Ball, passed away due to a sudden illness on March 1st. He was 68 years old. RIP
(Sensei is an honorific title for teachers, artists, lawyers, politicians, sports and martial arts masters and teachers, technical masters and instructors, etc.)
Outside of Dragon Ball, his most famous work is character design for the Dragon Quest series of video games.
Both Pretty Cure and Dragon Ball are works by Toei Animation, so I'll list them here based on that connection.
Although I wasn't from the Dragon Ball generation (I was around 5 years old at the time and didn't have much interest in Dragon Ball), his work was great in spreading Japanese manga and anime around the world.
R.I.P Toriyama Sensei.
By the way, the voice actress who played Goku (the main character in the Dragon Ball series) is Masako Nozawa, who plays Honoka's grandmother in the PreCure series.
Although she is currently 87 years old, she was shocked by the sudden death of the original author of Dragon Ball, who was 20 years younger than her and whom she admired (his cause of death was acute subdural hematoma).
In her memorial to him, she wrote, ``As long as I live, I want to be by Goku's side and play Goku.''
...I hope she lives to be 100 years old or even longer.
----
(From Toei Animation Official site)
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Toriyama Sensei.
All of us at Toei Animation extend our sincere condolences.
There are many staff members at our company who respect Toriyama Sensei, who was involved in many masterpieces such as ``Doctor Slump Arale-chan'' and the ``Dragon Ball'' series.
We are very grateful to you, Sensei for you guidance not only in the original manga, but also in the production of the anime series.
Our company, Toei Animation, is extremely honored to have been able to continue adapting many of Toriyama Sensei's manga works, which are loved all over the world, into animation.
We pray for the repose of the soul of Toriyama Sensei.

I hope everyone will continue to enjoy the subculture in general, including anime, manga, and games, originating from Japan, my country!
As you know, Yukiko NAKATANI is a character designer of both Go Princess Pretty Cure (2015) and Tropical-Rouge Pretty Cure (2021).
Among her character designs, I personally like the designs of Cure Flora, Cure Twinkle, and Cure Coral. For that reason, I hope she becomes a character designer for a new PreCure work someday.
Same goes for Toshie KAWAMURA!

Cure Wonderful/Komugi INUKAI.
Maria NAGANAWA plays her voice.
↑Maria Naganawa (August 5, 1995-)
She is from Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture.
By the way, her surname Naganawa (長縄) is a surname that originated in Nishio, Aichi Prefecture.
There is a place name ``Naganawa'' in Nishio (the old name was Naganawa Village, Hazu District, Mikawa Province), and her paternal ancestors were probably born there.
Okazaki is next to Nishio, so there is no doubt that one of her ancestors was from Naganawa, Nishio, Aichi Prefecture.
Japanese surnames, like mine, are often derived from place names.
Most Japanese surnames are based on the names of places where their ancestors lived or owned, characteristics of their place of residence, auspicious words, and occupations.
Examples of surnames derived from characteristics of the place of residence are Tanaka, Yamada, Miyashita, and Miyamoto.
Tanaka means "a place surrounded by rice fields," Yamada means "a place surrounded by mountains and rice fields," and Miyashita and Miyamoto mean "near a shinto shrine."
----
An interview with her about PreCure was published in the Anime Net Newspaper on March 3rd at 7:21am (Japan time, UTC+9), so I'll try to translate it to some extent.
----
・Naganawa:
I often watched "Futari wa PreCure" and "Yes PreCure 5," including reruns.
I was a little girl when these anime shows aired, so I didn't really understand the content, story, or message of each weekly episode. However, the transformation scene of the Precures was so cute that it left an impression on me.
I've loved mascot characters since I was a child, so I also liked fairies. I love Cure Lemonade because I like small and cute children.
・Naganawa:
Before I auditioned for Cure Wonderful, the fact that she was a dog was not explained in the first audition.
・Naganawa:
However, at first, the audition line had the word "Wan" (bow-wow) written in it, so I kind of wondered, ``Maybe she's a doggy?''
But I played her in the audition without knowing whether she was a small dog or a big dog, and when I saw her character visual for the first time at the studio audition, I thought, ``She's cute!''
During the audition, I was desperately trying to perform to the best of my ability.
I couldn't imagine how a dog could become a Pretty Cure. However, after I saw the character visual, I thought, ``She's absolutely cute!'' and played her in the audition.
・Naganawa:
Another thing I was conscious of while acting during the audition was
"Dogs are devoted and always think of their owners. I'm sure they'll be happy when they can talk to their owners."
・Naganawa:
In the episode 1, Komugi herself never thought she would be able to talk to humans, and I played her as just a dog so as not to make her imagine a human being.
・Naganawa:
At the end of the first episode, she was able to transform into a normal human girl and was able to speak.
Also, when she's a dog, I play her with an awareness that she's about 68% dog and 32% human, but when she becomes a human, I play her with an awareness that she's about 30% dog and 70% human.
It's fun to think about various things when playing her like that.
In the scene where she is surprised in her doggie state, I want to keep the element of her being a dog in my voice acting.
・Naganawa:
About the "Wan" she says when she transforms into a human girl,
She is conscious of ``when human girl imitate dogs'' and ``dogs' cries as seen by humans'' when I say these words as her.
・Naganawa:
Cure Wonderful should continue to grow, so at the beginning, she was only thinking about Iroha, and she was happy to become a person and to be able to talk to Iroha.
When I play her in the early stages, I always think that it would be better if she had a "dog-like" side to her.
She's not perfect yet, and I'm sure she'll continue to grow.
----
After it was decided that she would play Komugi, she started researching dogs all the time.
・Naganawa:
Ever since I was chosen to play her, I've been watching a lot of dog videos.
There are many meanings and interpretations for the word ``wan-wan'' (Bow-wow) that dogs say, and one of them is that they are trying to convey something.
・Naganawa:
Before I researched dogs, I wondered if the "kuun"(whine) that dogs say was an emotional expression when they were sad.
But sometimes they seem too happy to say this.
・Naganawa:
When I go out, I try to keep a close eye on the dogs walking that pass in front of me.
Even before I had this interview today, I saw a toy poodle walking with its owner.
And he/she had fallen over a bump in the road.
It seemed like he/she wanted to go to the telephone pole, and even if he/she fell down on a bump in the road, he or she would immediately get back up and go there.
Dogs are cute because they go straight to what they want to do.
When I saw the mentioned dog, I didn't even have a chance to think, "Is it okay after falling down?" That dog stood up and ran so quickly that I didn't even have time to worry about it (lol)
・Naganawa:
When I play her, I often get ahead of myself, so my lines sometimes end up being confusing. I was also acting like a dog by making her say ``haha'' and breathing heavily (laughs).
・Naganawa:
When recording the baton pass scene in the final episode of Hirogaru Sky Pretty Cure, I recorded the voice with Sekine-san (the voice actress of Cure Sky).
I was actually able to hear Sekine-san's voice next to her in the same booth.
When I saw her, I thought, ``Being a Precure is full of energy, full of motivation, and sparkling,'' and she wanted to try her hand at it.
Thinking about this, when I played her in the final episode of Hirogaru Sky PreCure, I naturally had a loud and clear voice.
I felt strongly that I had become a Precure just like them...
Naganawa:
For future recordings, I definitely don't want to catch a cold, and I'm taking good care of my health.
I'm trying to get a lot of sleep so that I can always come to the PreCure dubbing studio in good spirits.
It hasn't been long since I became a PreCure, but I want to grow together with Komugi over a long period of time without getting too stretched out. I'll do my best!

A side note.
The Japanese Christian population is 1% of the total population of Japan.
In fact, I'm not a Christian either. (I'm a Japanese.)
Of course, just like Christmas in Japan, Easter in Japan has little religious meaning. It is simply an event for people (mainly children) to have fun.
In the case of Christmas, it has effectively been elevated to a national event in Japan that can be enjoyed by all citizens, regardless of religion.
It's not just a day when Santa Claus gives presents, a day when gifts are given to each other, a day when parents and grandparents presents give to their children and grandchildren, a day when we eat Christmas cake, a day when we drink Coca-Cola(Coke) and a day when we eat KFC. lol
By the way, from the beginning of December until Christmas, a large amount of Kentucky Fried Chicken commercials will be aired almost every day on all Japanese television stations (except NHK).
In Japan, after Christmas cake, Kentucky Fried Chicken emerges as one of the Christmas delicacies. lol
Furthermore, unlike Christmas, Easter is not well known in Japan.
Many Japanese people wonder, ``Christmas is the birthday of Jesus Christ and an event derived from it, but what exactly is Easter?''
However, for some reason, Easter eggs are more well-known than Easter itself in Japan, so it is treated as a festival to find Easter eggs or a festival to eat sweets shaped like Easter eggs. lol
Easter Eggs (Japanese traditional designs):
Since 2014, an Easter festival has been held every year at Tokyo Disney Resort. However, it looks like it's just a costume parade of characters.
(By the way, I saw an announcement about the new festival on the Tokyo Disney Resort official website at the time, and that was when I first learned about the Easter Bunny.)
By the way, the most common domestic rabbit kept as a pet in Japan is the Japanese White.
Simply put, it's an albino rabbit.
Japanese White (domestic rabbit type):
For this reason, for a long time in Japan, many people said, ``The color of rabbits is white!''
In the mid-20th century, Peter Rabbit became famous in Japan, and people began to think that brown rabbits, like those found in hares, were just as cute as white rabbits.
By the way, as I mentioned before, black hares (an endangered species) inhabit Japan's Amami Islands.
I want to meet them someday!
-------
By the way, Tokyo Disney Resort is a collective name for two Disney parks, Disney-related hotels and Disney-related stores (places where you can buy Disney character goods without going into the Disney parks).
Tokyo Disney Resort is Japan's most popular amusement park and theme park.
Tokyo Disney Resort has two Disney parks:
・Tokyo Disneyland (1983)
・Tokyo Disney Sea (2001)
Easter Festival in Tokyo Disneyland:
Of course, there are other characters, but what I want to focus on is that each Disney park has a different Easter costume, even if they are held in the same year.
Easter Festival in Tokyo Disney Sea:

Easter Eggs of Sanrio Characters:
