This category lists the categories for the characters of each Pretty Cure season. It should be noted that characters appearing in a sequel will not be mentioned in the original's category, and neither the other way around, regardless if they reappear or not. Another thing to note is that although most of the mascots are minor characters, they are categorized as "Mascots", while minor characters who do not play any central role are "Minor characters". The minor characters' category consists mostly of the good people from the Pretty Cure's world, while the category "Villains" have the antagonists, however small role they have. The girls that can transform into Pretty Cure have the category "Cures".
