Cerfeuil

Cerfeuil (セルフィーユ)^? is a minor character from Delicious Party♡Pretty Cure. She was a Cook Fighter apprentice at CooKingdom, but after the Delicious Stone chose her, she's now a Cook Fighter.

Appearance[]

Cerfeuil has light brown hair that reaches her chin, and part of her bangs cover her right eye. Her eyes are blue. She wears a white dress shirt underneath a cream-colored jacket with a lime green collar, green shoulder pads, lime green cuffs, and gold trim. The inside of the jacket's cape is lime green. Her dress shirt is accessorized with a white frilly tie and a teal sash. She also wears green shorts with four lime green diamond-shaped buttons, black leggings, and brown ankle-length boots. On her head, she wears a green hat with a lime green ribbon and a single white feather.

Personality[]

Cerfeuil dreams of becoming a Cook Fighter. However, she's a coward, and her fear of heights and combat training prevent her from pursuing this dream. Despite this, she's known for her kindness and eccentricity. She's also a fan of Pretty Cure.

Relationships[]

Fennel: Her teacher. She depends on him to teach her everything she needs to know to become a great Cook Fighter. But she was later shocked when she learns that Fennel was Godatz all along.

Etymology[]

Cerfeuil is the French word for "chervil" ^[1], which is a herb used in cooking that has delicate leaves like feathers and a flavour like liquorice^[2].

History[]

Cerfeuil is told by Fennel to be the Cures' guide around CooKingdom. While showing them around the world, she tells the girls about Cook Fighters and how her fear of heights and combat prevents her from passing her exam. As the girls give her advice, the SOS alert goes off on the girls' watches, so Cerfeuil follows the girls as they try to find the Bundoru Gang member. However, Cerfeuil falls behind, having little faith in herself, when Secretoru runs into her. Realizing Secretoru is a Bundoru Gang member, Cerfeuil passes out. She recovers shortly after the Cures arrive, and recalls Amane's advice, which gives her the courage to help the Cures. Fennel notices this and she's given a Delicious Stone, which chooses her, making Cerfeuil a Cook Fighter. With newfound power, Cerfeuil bravely fights the Ubauzo, giving the Cures an opening to free themselves and purify the Ubauzo. After the battle, Cerfeuil is told there is tough training awaiting her now that she's a Cook Fighter. She's then told one of Yui's grandmother's quotes, before saying goodbye.^DPPC29

Sometime later, Cerfeuil receives a concerning report, which she approaches Fennel after he finishes exchanging information with Rosemary.^DPPC39 She, along with her superiors and colleagues, is held captive by Spiritoru and Mini Spiritorus and is devastated to know her mentor is Godatz.^DPPC43 She's later freed thanks to Narcistoru shutting down Spiritoru and manages to capture a portion of Mini Spiritorus on her own.^DPPC44

After the final battle, Cerfeuil, along with the other Cook Fighters, is under new leadership of Rosemary. She panics when she tells everyone that the cake is too big for the Cook Fighters to light the candles, but is happy when the Cures solve the problem.^DPPC45
