Cure Empress (キュアエンプレス, Kyua Enpuresu^?) (Known as Glitter Empress in the Glitter Force Doki Doki Dub.) is one of the Legendary Pretty Cures from Doki Doki! Pretty Cure. She was the original user of the Magical Lovely Pad, and Cure Heart bears a striking resemblance to her, as pointed out by Cure Empress' fairy partner, Melan. Her team partners were Cure Magician and Cure Priestess.

Appearance

Cure Empress has long, thickly curled hair worn in a ponytail with a large bun on top, held by fuchsia ribbon. Her bangs are parted at the center and straight cut, while her forelocks were shoulder length and held by gold bands. She has sharp, dark pink eyes.

Her outfit is composed of a white top with a fuchsia border and a yellow fabric wrapped around her waist. She has a pale blue vest lined in red to accent her scalloped skirt, and wore purple leggings. She has loose sleeves matching her outfit, and white boots with the leg portion resembling leg warmers.

History

10,000 years ago, Cure Empress had became a Pretty Cure along with two other girls that had used the Three Sacred Treasures in order to battle with a great evil, known as the Jikochū. Using the power of the Magical Lovely Pad, she and Melan fought against the forces of Jikochu. The Legendary Pretty Cures were later able to lock away the Jikochu inside a seal deep inside the base of the Trump Kingdom's chamber itself. It was also the place where the Eternal Golden Crown was used as a seal in order to keep the Jikochu, locked away. The seal was then hidden away by Melan, along with the Miracle Dragon Glaive, which was later handed down to Trump Kingdom's royal family; along with all Three Treasures in their possession. It was later revealed that Cure Empress, Cure Magician, and Cure Priestess fought King Selfish, but lost. Since the event took place 10,000 years ago, many say Cure Empress is already dead.

• The Legendary Pretty Cures are named after tarot cards, specificlly from the Rider Waite Tarot card deck. Cure Empress is named after the card #3, "The Empress".
