Relationships[]

Etymology[]

A Priestess is a woman who officiates in sacred rites.[1]

History[]

Once, long 10,000 years ago, Cure Priestess had become a Pretty Cure along with two other girls, Cure Empress, and Cure Magician. They had used the Three Sacred Treasures in order to battle with a great evil, known as the Jikochuu. Using the power of the Eternal Golden Crown, she and her teammates fought together against the forces of Jikochuu. The Legendary Pretty Cures were later able to lock away Proto-Jikochuu inside a seal deep inside the base of the Trump Kingdom's chamber itself. It was also the place where the Eternal Golden Crown was used as a seal in order to keep Proto-Jikochuu, locked away. The seal was then hidden away by Melan, along with the Magical Lovely Pad and the Miracle Dragon Glaive, which was later handed down to Trump Kingdom's royal family along with all Three Treasures in their possession.

Trivia[]

  • Wearing the Eternal Golden Crown grants the wearer knowledge of everything in the universe. Cure Priestess' theme color is a tribute to blue Cures in general, who are known to be the most intelligent of all the Cures.
  • The Legendary Pretty Cure are named after tarot cards, specifically from the Rider-Waite Tarot card deck. Cure Priestess is named after the card #2, "The High Priestess".
