Ego Ego (エゴエゴ?) appears in the Healin' Good♥Pretty Cure movie. He is the main antagonist of the movie, and threatens the City of Dreams by targetting Kaguya.

Bio[]

Appearance[]

Ego Ego is a fox shaped creature with white fur. He has red mark under his black eyes. He has a green bud behind his back.

Personality[]

Ego Ego is arrogant and aggresive. As he was created by Gashuin Sarena, he only wants to please her. Because of this, he has some jealousy towards Kaguya. However, he mellows out after he gets purified.

Relationships[]

  • Gashuin Sarena: His creator. He is eager to please her, and gets extremely envious of Kaguya being her adoptive daughter who gets more attention. However, he seems to have let go of his grudge for her after he gets purified.
  • Kaguya: His fellow creation. He is initially envious of her, going as far as to try hurting her as his own revenge. But after his purification, he is regretful and sincerely apologizes to her.

Etymology[]

Ego means "the self-importance or self-esteem of a person".

History[]

Ego Ego was originally an artificial life form created by Sarena to assist her in the research and development of virtual dreams. He was thought to have escaped from the facility, but he was ordered by Sarena to take the Dream Buds, and in the process captured the Pretty Cure 5 team, who have powerful dreams. By using the Dream Bud, he can alter himself and perform various attacks.

At first, he faithfully followed Sarena's orders, but he grew tired of being ordered around by her, who only thought of Kaguya. His desire to rule led Ego Ego to rebel against Sarena. He took the Miracle Flower that bloomed and transformed him into a giant. Ego Ego is defeated by Healin' Good♥Pretty Cure Partner Forms, but unable to give up, he takes Kaguya to turn into a human, and overwhelms the Cures. However, he is purified by Dream Cure Grace, and in doing so, learns the warmth of caring for others.

He was thought to have disappeared, but returns to his original small form, and apologizes to Kaguya for the terrible things he had done to her. Hinata, who has seen him revive many times, describes him as "immortal" or "stubborn".
