Emperor Undergu (カイザー・アンダーグ)? was the former leader of the Undergu Empire from Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure.
Bio[]
Appearance[]
Emperor Undergu is a brawny man with grey-green skin. He has a maroon mohawk, a mustache, and a goatee. He wears a gold mask with red markings above his eyes and grey horns on the side, along with a gold Usekh collar that has a red cape connected to it. His clothing includes black armor with grey shoulder pads that have spikes, a gold belt with a dark gold buckle that is shaped like a mask and has blue accents to look like eyes and a mouth, spiked gauntlets, dark blue pants, and dark blue boots with gold trim.
Personality[]
Emperor Undergu was a wicked man who valued power above all else, but he had a soft spot for his daughter. He became more respectable after making peace with Sky Land.
Relationships[]
- Empress Undergu: His daughter. Emperor Undergu doesn't like the idea of his daughter being on the battlefield with him, due to wanting to protect her.
- Princess Elleelain: Emperor Undergu and Elleelain used to be enemies. However, they have since made peace and maintain a friendship with each other for the sake of Empress Undergu.
- Skearhead: His former right-hand man. He assigns Skearhead to look after and teach his daughter. Sometimes, he can be harsh to Skearhead whenever he fails to fulfill his orders, calling him useless. However, the Emperor is close with Skearhead, as they both think strength is everything. The Emperor even developed a plan with Skearhead to create a trap that would lure Elleelain away from Sky Land's royal city so they could destroy it. However, Skearhead killed him for making peace with Sky Land.
Etymology[]
His Japanese name, Kaiser (カイザー)? is German for "Emperor"[1].
Undergu (アンダーグ)? comes from the word "Underground", which references how the Undergu Empire is the opposite of Sky Land, which is in the sky.
History[]
300 years ago, Emperor Undergu appeared in Sky Land and summoned Ranborgs to destroy it. The guards of Sky Land initially believed they had won the battle against the Ranborgs, but Emperor Undergu mocked them and called even more Ranborgs.However, he soon realized that his daughter, Empress Undergu, and Skearhead had arrived. He ordered Skearhead to take his daughter back to the Undergu Empire.HSPC44
After Cure Noble defeated Emperor Undergu's Ranborg with Magic Hour's End, the Emperor retreated back to the Empire. His daughter pleaded with him to stop fighting with Sky Land, but he refused and formulated a trap with Skearhead. The trap was put into action when he had a discussion with Elleelain, and he revealed to her that she had walked right into his trap. Emperor Undergu then asked Elleelain if she could ever forgive him. Elleelain transformed and fought him in a full rage, but the fight came to an end when Noble tried to defeat him with Magic Hour's End. However, the Emperor was protected by his daughter instead, and he was shocked to see a wound on her chest. Emperor Undergu was convinced he couldn't save his daughter, but Noble told him that she believed he had the power to close the wound. At dawn, Emperor Undergu walked into the royal city with Elleelain to signal peace between Sky Land and the Undergu Empire.HSPC45
During Sky Land's peaceful times with the Undergu Empire, Emperor Undergu, and Empress Undergu once gave Elleelain a doll for her birthday. However, Skearhead later framed Elleelain and murdered Emperor Undergu with a spear, leading to the Emperor's end.HSPC49
