Excitement (ときめき, Excitement)^? is the opening theme for the Kibou no Chikara ~Otona Pretty Cure '23~ series, sung by Ikimonogakari. The song also celebrates the 20^th Anniversary for the Pretty Cure franchise. The song debuted in episode 1 on October 7^th, 2023.

The minute hand on the clock tower ticks, as Nozomi silences her alarm clock. Nozomi gets ready for work, and walks down the street as a butterfly flies behind her. Nozomi turns around and smiles. There are then quick shots of a phone, a sundial, and a digital clock. As Nozomi runs, there are scenes of Rin designing new jewelry and helping a customer, Urara acting and recording a song, Komachi writing on her laptop and selling sweets, Karen talking to a child and looking at results, and Kurumi walking with a co-worker and stretching before starting work. These are followed by the title card.

Coco is seen introducing a fairy to Papaya, Nuts is working through many documents, Syrup is watering flowers in the Cure Rose Garden, Bunbee is laughing with a co-worker, Mai is drinking a cup of coffee, and Saki is holding freshly baked bread. There are then quick shots of an hourglass, a pendulum clock, and a clock at a train station. Time goes by quickly as the clock tower's hands spin quickly. Nozomi is then seen walking alone in the dark as Bell and her Shadows tower over her. Nozomi looks back in fear, only to see her and her friends as Pretty Cure. Following this are quick shots of Cure Rouge, Milky Rose, Cure Mint, Cure Lemonade, Cure Aqua, and finally a happy Cure Dream.

Cure Dream helps get Nozomi back on her feet, with Nozomi smiling as Cure Dream fades into light that disappears inside of Nozomi's chest. The scene transitions to Urara double high fiving Komachi, Komachi reaching out to Karen, Kurumi jumping on to Karen to give her a quick hug before high fiving Rin. Rin then reaches out into the empty space, which transitions to the six girls standing together with big smiles on their faces.

Starting from episode 4, Saki and Mai are added to the group shot at the end of the opening, smiling with the Yes! 5 girls.
