Futari wa Pretty Cure Splash☆Star: Maji☆Doki♡ 3D Theater (ふたりはプリキュア スプラッシュスター マジッ☆ ドキッ♡ 3Dシアター)? is a stereoscopic 3D short that was shown in Japanese IMAX cinemas in 2006. It was released on DVD in 2012 on the Futari wa Pretty Cure Splash Star DVD box set's bonus "Memory" disc.
Synopsis[]
A Hope Seed has suddenly sprouted from Flappy's head. Goyan uses a Despair Seed to find it, which turns into an Uzaina. Saki and Mai transform and fight the monster, but are swallowed by it. After falling down a long way, they end up bound by vines in a dark cave. They struggle in vain to free themselves, with Goyan gloating and telling them to give up. When they still refuse to give in, the Hope Seed sprout on Flappy's head starts glowing and the Cures are able to break their bonds just when the Uzaina's root-like hands are about to grab them. Now outside again, they use their Twin Stream Splash to defeat it. Goyan disappears, and the Despair Seed turns into another Hope Seed, which is carried away by the wind. Flappy's Hope Seed sprout has grown into a dandelion, which releases more new Hope Seeds that are also blown away on the wind.

- Created to show off the newly popular stereoscopic 3D technology, this short has a lot of shots with exaggerated depth.
- After this small experiment, it took until 2011 before Toei again used 3D for a Pretty Cure short, Pretty Cure All Stars DX: 3D Theatre.
