Reunion by Tennis! The Old Bully!? (テニスで再会！いじわるな男の子！？ Tenisu de Saikai! Ijiwaru na Otoko no Ko!??) is the seventh episode of Go! Princess Pretty Cure and is the 542nd episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.
Synopsis
As Haruka brushes Pafu's hair, she is told by Minami about the Noble Academy tradition which is known as the Ball Game Field Day. Pafu wonders what that day is about in which Haruka answers her, telling her that it is a game where everyone play a sport that uses balls, which Pafu thinks sounds fun and grabs Aroma and begins rolling him around on the floor like a ball. Haruka asks Minami what sports will be in this year's field day which turns out to be soccer, basketball and tennis and that the team will be a mix of boys and girls which Kirara finds unusual. Minami says that the day is to develop friendship since boys and girls keep to themselves. Kirara asks Haruka what she wants to enter and Haruka says she wants to pick tennis because it's the most princess like sport in which Aroma wishes her luck.
It's time to pick who's on the team so the girls pick straws to see who gets to be on a team. Haruka and Yui get the sticks that says "winner" while the other three girls do not. Yui is paired up with Shiraishi while Haruka is paired up with Aihara Yuuki. After Yuuki is asked why he joined to play tennis since he is already a fantastic tennis player, he and Haruka wish each other good luck while the fans of Yuuki glare at Haruka with a jealous aura surrounding them. As Haruka begins making her way back to her seat, Yuuki taps on her shoulder and asks if she's free after school so they can practice tennis.
After school, she is told to show Yuuki how good she is at tennis. She starts off with the serve but misses the ball and tries again but each time fails unsuccessfully which irritates Yuuki. He gets even more angry once Haruka tells him she has never played tennis before and picked it since it's the most princess like sport out of the three which leads the two to realizing that they were classmates in kindergarten.
In the ballet studio, Haruka is complaining about Yuuki and how she's a Princess Pretty Cure but Aroma says she has to keep her Pretty Cure identity a secret which Haruka knows very well. Minami and Pafu comfort Haruka and Haruka tells them about her past in kindergarten and how Yuuki made fun of her dream of becoming a princess. Haruka wonders why she even picked tennis and Minami says that this is her chance to fix her past with Yuuki. After class ends the next day, Haruka tells Yuuki she'll practice better this time but Yuuki says there is no need since she'll be just standing while he does all the work. Before he leaves, he says she can practice her serves if she's up to it.
Angry, Haruka goes out to the hill with Aroma and Pafu and summons Miss Shamour so that she can be taught how to play tennis. Miss Shamour takes Haruka to a different world so she can teach tennis to Haruka. She learns how to bounce the ball with the racket, how to hit the ball well and even practices her swings at night with Pafu and Aroma watching over her. In the next couple of days, she runs along the beach dragging a tire along behind her which Pafu and Aroma sit on, practices serving with Kirara as her opponent while Minami gives her swinging criticism and even reads a book about tennis in which she improves by a lot. During a break, Haruka finds out that Kirara entered to play basketball since it's the only indoors sport and doesn't want to get sun burnt. While staring at a tennis ball, Haruka remembers something Yuuki had said in that classroom a few days back.
While walking to her dorm, Haruka hears the sound of a tennis ball being hit and wanders over to see that he is still practicing despite the club hours being over. She is told that he always trains as much as possible by a fan. Yuuki makes a mistake and falls to the ground which causes his fans to worry but tells his constructor his still able to do more.
It's finally the day of the middle school's Sports Field Day and during the opening ceremony, Shut appears on the roof top and says how its up to him to defeat Pretty Cure.
Kirara easily scores in basketball while Minami is able to get past the defenders and score a goal in soccer. Meanwhile, it's time for Haruka and Yuuki to get their tennis match underway. Yuuki tells Haruka to take it easy since he'll do everything but Haruka successfully performs her serve which shocks Yuuki. However, Shut interrupts the tennis match and due to how passionate Yuuki is to play the game without interruptions, he corrupts Yuuki's dream and transforms him into a tennis ball Zetsuborg.
Haruka transforms into Cure Flora and begins fighting against the Zetsuborg. After punching the Zetsuborg, she says her battle cry. Meanwhile, Kirara tries getting through the evacuating crowd but a teacher grabs her arm and tells her to evacuate. The same happens to Minami but is instead pulled away by a fellow student. Back at the battle grounds, Flora fights as well as she can against the Zetsuborg but gets caught in its net. As she tries to free herself, she says to the unconscious Yuuki that she understands how it feels to have your dreams trampled and swears to protect his dream and frees herself. Minami and Kirara arrive and transform into Cure Mermaid and Twinkle respectively. Flora grabs a tennis racket and begins using it to hit the balls back at the Zetsuborg. After Twinkle and Mermaid trip the Zetsuborg over with its own net, Flora performs Floral Tourbillon to purify the Zetsuborg. Shut takes his leave and Flora frees Yuuki from the cage of despair. As Yuuki wakes up, he notices Cure Flora who says she hopes his dreams come true before he closes his eyes again.
Back at the tennis courts, Haruka walks up to Yuuki and says it is almost time to go back to playing tennis in which Yuuki says he saw someone who looked like a princess of flowers which shocks Haruka. He admits to Haruka that her dream to be a princess isn't a fantasy and then complements how her serve was great. Haruka asks if she'll be a splendid princess and Yuuki says she'll have to wait a few hundred years to find out in which Haruka almost says she was the flower princess before Aroma and Pafu stop her. Still angry over what Yuuki said, she accidentally serves the ball into Yuuki's back which angers him. Kirara and Minami comment on how they have a long way to getting on good terms with each other.
