Glasan (グラサン Gurasan?) is the second main fairy in Happiness Charge Pretty Cure! and is Cure Fortune's fairy partner. She helps Cure Fortune during her battles.
Apperearance
Glasan looks similar to Ribbon, except she has purple hair and wears a purple dress and a bag on her back. As her name suggests, she has a pair of purple sunglasses on top of her head. They are usually up, but sometimes they are down.
Personality
She is caring, kind and optimistic. She is shown to admire Cure Tender and also cares for Iona much. She is friendly and always gives Fortune advice, especially when the girls invited her to join the team.
History
Relationships
- Hikawa Iona : She is her partner. She always gives Iona advice and she seems friendlier than her.
- Aino Megumi: She speaks to her in episode 13 when Phantom withdraws and also expressed her thanks to her.
- Ribbon: They've known each other for a long time, as they are both from Blue Sky Kingdom.
- Hikawa Maria: She seems to admire Cure Tender very much. It is possibly that she might have been Tender's mascot partner.
Etymology
Trivia
- She is the third fairy to have purple as the theme color, following Cologne and Dabyi.
- She speaks using masculine speech patterns, including the masculine emphatic particle "-ze".
- Coincidentally, she can occasionally use "-zo" or "-na" in some episodes.
- She shares the same voice actress with Ishigami Rin, Kobori Miyuki.
- Like the Doki Doki! mascots, Ribbon and possibly Glasan, can sense the Saiark's presences.
- It seemed like she can not produce anymore PreCards after she granted Iona her wish in episode 22.
- Despite being a female, she uses 'ore' instead of 'watashi' or 'atashi' when referring to herself, which only males use in the Japanese language.
- It seemed she can not sense the appearance of a Saiark as shown in episode 44 when Ribbon sense Red's Saiark which she panickly told every one while Glasan does not seem to feel any thing.
- Despite this, she can sense the Saiark in the movie.
