In Pain Again!? Daruizen, Are You? (苦しみの再来！？ダルイゼン、あなたは Kurushimi no Sairai!? Daruizen, Anata Wa)? is the 28th episode of Healin' Good♥Pretty Cure and is the 810th episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.
Summary
Nodoka is in pain after having a Mega Part forced inside her. However, when Rabirin and the others combine their powers to get it out of her, something else appears...
Major Events
- Kedary, a Byogen formed from the infection caused by the Mega Part inserted into Nodoka's bodyHGPC27, appears. He is ultimately purified by Healing Oasis.
- It is revealed that a Megabyogen parasite caused Nodoka to fall ill when she was younger, which eventually turned into Daruizen after he escaped her body. Nodoka resolves to take responsibility for Daruizen and deal with him.
Synopsis
The others realize Nodoka has gone missing and they discover she has been rendered unconscious by Daruizen. He reveals putting a Mega Part into her body and takes off after refusing to disclose his reasoning. The girls get her parents and they help her into the car. Chiyu offers to let Asumi and Latte stay at her place so that they can stay with Nodoka in the hospital, and once they leave the girls worriedly begin to discuss their next move. While they would like to tell her parents what happened, the mascots convince them that it would only make them more worried.
At the hospital Nodoka's parents remain by her bed until the doctor asks to see them. He goes over the testing they did and he admits that while she is sickly, they showed no signs of abnormality. Like before, they don't know what caused her sudden relapse. This causes her parents further grief as Rabirin sadly watches over her.
The girls remain saddened over what happened as Hinata's sister gives them some juice. Her encouragement seems to do little for them, and once she walks away Chiyu brings up the possibility that her illness last time may have been from a Mega Part too. Pegitan and Nyatoran reveal that its entirely possible, Teatinu could only do so much back then and some couldn't be purified and evolved from Megabyogens. Hinata becomes overwhelmed hearing this, and as the girls think about Nodoka again they start to feel depressed. Asumi suggests they pay her a visit, even if they can't heal her they still want to see her, and check on Rabirin too. The girls agree and they head to the hospital.
Rabirin feels devastated over not being help to help Nodoka, and she feels guilt under the belief its her fault that she got sick again. She begins to cry when Nodoka awakens, and she comforts Rabirin by convincing her that their encounter isn't to blame for her sickness now. She understands the Megabyogens were the cause, and while this might be a strain on her body now she knows that she can overcome it. Rabirin gave her strength, and she's been able to do a lot since they met. Suddenly, Nodoka's hands begin to glow and she cries out in pain as the others arrive. They ask Latte, who reveals the Byogens in her body are in pain from Pretty Cure's power trying to fight them off. Nodoka tries her best to fight against the pain, and with Rabirin they plead for the Megabyogen to expel itself from her body. To their alarm it does, and Nodoka sits up realizing she feels fine now. Everyone is very relieved and she thanks them for their encouragement.
Daruizen sees that the megabyogen has been expelled so quickly, acknowledging that it won't be very strong since it didn't have enough time to grow. The girls show up with Nodoka as it begins to evolve, but to everyone's surprise, they notice it resembles Daruizen. The young boy introduces himself as Kedary, and he starts to infect the nature surrounding them as Latte takes ill. The girls transform into Cure Grace, Fontaine, Sparkle and Earth but quickly find themselves being fought off with ease. They remark on Kedary's flexibility and are forced to rely on assistance from their Paw Shields, even Earth struggles to land a hit. Grace fights against Kedary while Daruizen watches, and he appears to come to a realization. It was Nodoka's body that hosted him, when she was a child. He was the reason for her sickness back then, and after being summoned by King Byogen he left and evolved.
The girls come to the realization that if they can prevent Kedary from attacking they can get an opening to purify him. Earth uses the element of air to summon large bubbles that capture him, and they watch as he helplessly tries to escape. They go on to use Healing Oasis on him, causing him to disappear and return their surrounded back to normal. The girls attempt to attack Daruizen to try to purify him too, but he smashes the ground to throw them off-balance and force them down. He approaches Grace and reveals what he discovered to her, then he takes off.
Nodoka's parents and doctor are amazed by her sudden recovery. She apologizes for worrying them and they embrace her with relief as she assures them that with her friends by her side, she won't give up the fight against her illness. However, she has come to the decision that she must do something about Daruizen.
