Throw It With Your Hands! Treat The Ball Connected To Your Youth! (手と手でトス!ボールつないで青春お手当て! Te to Te de Tosu! Bōru Tsunaide Seishun Oteate!?) is the 35th episode of Healin' Good♥Pretty Cure and is the 817th episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.

Summary[]

Asumi uses her wind power to take the girls to a deserted island. There, Nodoka and the others devote their time to playing volleyball under the watchful eyes of Coach Latte and Rabirin!

Synopsis[]

Asumi and Latte join Rabirin for the beach volleyball anime they enjoy watching each week. The girls feel encouraged by the program when it concludes, they really want to play beach volleyball on a tropical beach too. Asumi sees that Latte has something to say so she pulls out the stethoscope, and Latte expresses that because of their efforts and hard-work, she thinks they have all earned a nice time out.

Guaiwaru meanwhile, wants to come up with a really smart plan befitting of the newly transformed him. Daruizen remarks the low probability of this and walks off, but Guaiwaru is even more encouraged.

With her wind powers Asumi teleports everyone to a tropical beach. The girls admire their beautiful new surrounds as Nyatoran and Pegitan go to play in the ocean water. To their surprise the Sea Element appears to visit them. It chats with the healing animals and they ask that it let them play there for the day. It agrees, happy to see how lively things are for a change. The girls get into their beach clothing and do some stretches before anything else, but to their surprise Rabirin blows her whitle to reveal this is a "beach volleyball camp", in which she and Latte are the coaches. Asumi approves but the others are confused until they recognize the name of the series. While Chiyu and Hinata chat about youth-inspiring series Nodoka quickly gets fired up with some encouragement from Rabirin. The girls decide to go along with it for now; with some hesitation from Hinata.

Guaiwaru is still thinking over his plans while standing atop a tree. So far he has no idea, until he gets inspired when a kid hits a volleyball that collides with his face and knocks him down. He decides to observe them a bit longer.

Nodoka admires Chiyu and Asumi as they start to play beach volleyball. Chiyu explains that her brother is also a fan of the game, so she plays it with him. She misses a serve from Asumi, who helps her up and apologizes for hitting it back when Chiyu was distracted. Rabirin is happy with their sportsmanship and decides she doesn't need to help them, focusing further on Nodoka and Hinata when they take their turn to play. She gives Nodoka some helpful tips on returning the ball and encourages her to keep trying; something Hinata is confused by since she doesn't seem to be like the typical hot-blooded couch. Rabirin calls this type outdated, like the anime she and Latte want to teach new playrs how fun sports can be. With that, she partners up the four girls for a two-player match.

Unknown to them Guaiwaru has appeared, and he forces a nanobyogen into a tree, transforming it into a tree-volleyball player Megabyogen. But it's quite clumsy and he insults it, deciding they must do some training before it can properly do battle.

In her hurry to protect Latte from an oncoming ball Nodoka makes a hasty move that buries the both of them in sand. But she is relieved knowing she isn't hurt, and Asumi apologizes for hitting the ball the way she did. The girls decide to take a break, where Pegitan and Nyatoran reveal they set up a grill with food that has been cooking. The girls eat and sit down for a while to relax before they decide what to do next. Nodoka comes up with an idea and asks Rabirin for help in learning to receive and pass the volleyball properly. Rabirin is very happy by this and she agrees to help her.

Meanwhile, Guaiwaru decides that their training is finished. He sends his Megabyogen out and Latte becomes sickly. This makes the girls worry that their target might be back at home, since Asumi's power hasn't fully returned yet, but it turns out that its actually on the same island as they are. Everyone chases after it around the island until they locate Guaiwaru and the large palm tree monster infecting the volleyball net and beach. The girls transform into Pretty Cure and the Megabyogen throws flaming coconuts at the girls, serving them in a way the girls recognize. But they struggle to fight it properly because of how used they are to play volleyball. Rabirin encourages Grace to keep trying, and Guaiwaru reveals how much training he gave to his monster, unaware of how worn out it is. The girls criticize his cruel teaching methods and come together to work as a team, and when the next serve comes their way, Grace takes into account what Rabirin taught her and she manages to toss it with the paw shield. Fontaine uses the ice element bottle to freeze the flaming coconut and Earth returns the serve to the monster, who dodges it and earns more critique from them.

Guaiwaru instructs it to keep going, only to realize its out of coconuts and can't serve anymore. Rabirin instructs Grace to use the Harvest Bottle and she does so, forming a large element ball for each girl to pass around back to Grace. She leaps into the air and throws it at the monster as hard as they can, and it is unable to deflect the attack. Grace locates the tree element trapped inside and uses Healing Flower to purify it and the land.

The tree spirit returns home and Guaiwaru takes off, realizing they didn't work hard enough on receiving the ball. The girls return to the beach to admire the sunset and Nodoka suggests they do this again some time. Everyone agrees and they share a cheer.
