Erika's the Rival! Written Challenge From the Drama Club!! (ライバルはえりか！演劇部からの挑戦状です！！ Raibaru wa Erika! Engekibu Kara no Chōsen-jō Desu!?) is the 16th episode of Heartcatch Pretty Cure! and also the 308th episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.

Synopsis

Azusa, the leader of the Theatrical Club challanges Erika to see which club is better. But after everyone in the club quits she is left wondering what she did wrong...

Summary

To see whose designs are the best Azusa challanges Erika's Fashion Club against her Theatrical Club. They appear to be enemies but Tsubomi is informed that they are actually on really good terms. Azusa judges the designs before her before going on to state they need attire for the role of a fabulous rich woman, so they will both make one and see who does better. With the terms set out they agree and get to work.

At the many commands Azusa makes, the drama club members soon become tired and aggitated and all end up quitting- leaving a confused and depressed Azusa behind. She initially points fingers at them, unaware that it was her own attitude that played a role in it.

Chypre and Coffret locate Tsubomi and Erika and they run off, transforming into Pretty Cure to begin fighting. While this goes on, the drama club members hear its voice and realize its feelings belong to Azusa, shocking them as they listen to it speak. Marine uses Blue Forte Wave to save Azusa and return everything to normal shortly after.
