A Hero In The House!? (ヒーローがおうちにやってきた！？ Hīrō ga Ouchi ni Yattekita!?)? is the 2nd episode of Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure and is the 920th episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.

Summary[]

After defeating the Ranborg, Mashiro takes Sora back to her home. Mashiro's grandmother Yoyo does not appear surprised by their arrival and welcomes Sora and Ellee.

  • This episode marks the first appearances of Yoyo and Tsubasa.
  • It is revealed that Sora was inspired to become a hero after Captain Shalala saved her from being attacked by some vines in a forbidden forest.

Synopsis[]

Mashiro brings Sora and Ellee-chan to her grandmother Yoyo's home and oddly enough, Yoyo is not taken aback by Sora and Ellee-chan's appearance. She even instructs Mashiro to make milk for Ellee-chan and allows the two new friends to stay.

The next morning at breakfast, Mashiro learns how to burp Ellee-chan while Sora tries the fish and admires the taste, but doesn't like the pickled plum. Meanwhile, Sora is cleaning the dishes. Yoyo asks Mashiro to run some errands at the mall while she takes care of Ellee-chan.

Sora and Mashiro have trouble remembering Kabaton's name and Sora is determined to defeat him again once she transforms into Cure Sky. The girls arrive at the Sorashido mall, and Sora is very curious about her. Next, the girls go shopping, Sora tries on several different outfits until she picks out what she likes: that being a blue and white shirt with a blue skirt.

Sora later explains to Mashiro that she wants to be a hero because she was saved by a real heroine when she got lost in the forbidden forest as a child. It is also revealed how she got her Hero Notebook. After that, Kabaton arrives and steals burgers from a restaurant to fuel himself up and demands to know where Ellee-chan is. Back at home, Yoyo and Ellee-chan watch the scene from the mirror. Kabaton summons the vending machine Ranborg, which shoots out water bottles all over town. Sora is weak, but refuses to give up hope and transforms into Cure Sky.

Sky punches the water bottles in the way and the Ranborg several times. Kabaton encourages the Ranborg to stand up for itself, but Sky manages to dodge all the attacks. The Ranborg performs its special move: a giant water bottle. The water bottle aims at Sky, but she catches it and performs a Spinning Pretty Cure Counterattack to throw it at the Ranborg. Sky then finishes it off with Sky Punch.

After Kabaton retreats, Sora de-transforms and Mashiro takes her to the Pretty Holic to buy a new Hero Notebook for her. Sore briefly refuses to take it, but Mashiro convinces her to accept it.

Trivia[]

  • Cure Sky appears before the ending song begins to let the viewers know that there may be other Pretty Cure appearing in the ending song starting from episode 3.
  • Sora changes into her casual clothes for the first time.
  • Sora is revealed to have a younger brother.
  • The robot that appears in the Sorashido Mall is very similar to those that appear in Dreamia from the Delicious Party movie. One of Sora's outfits in the mall also resemble Shinsen Middle School's female Winter uniform.
  • At home, Yoyo is shown to have a mirror that lets her watch over the girls. Said mirror is later revealed to be the Mirror Pad in the following episode.
  • During the incident at the forbidden forest in Sora's past, Sora was actually 4. This is revealed in episode 14 when Captain Shalala has an in-person conversation with Sora.
  • In Sekine Akira's final interview for the season, she revealed that she ad-libbed Sora's pledge to be Mashiro's knight.
