Hic-Hic Homesick! Don't Cry, Ellee-chan! (シクシクホームシック!泣かないでエルちゃん! Shikushiku Hōmushikku! Nakanaide Eru-Chan!)? is the 3rd episode of Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure and is the 921st episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.

Summary[]

Ellee is in a bad mood. Sora and the others realize this is because she misses her Papa and Mama, so they decide to use the Mirror Pad to communicate with Sky Land.

Major Events[]

  • Mashiro's parents are seen for the first time.
  • Yoyo reveals that she is actually from Sky Land, meaning that Mashiro is also part-Sky Landian.
  • Sora and Mashiro learn that Ellee-chan is Sky Land's princess, and also meets the king and queen of Sky Land.

Synopsis[]

At the Nijigaoka household, Mashiro is chatting with her parents on her tablet, checking to see if she's not lonely. Sora tries to cheer up a crying Ellee-chan by giving her milk and checking her diaper, but none of those work. Mashiro thinks Ellee-chan is homesick, to which the baby princess agrees. Sora is still eager to get back to Sky Land to see Ellee-chan's parents. Yoyo arrives and tells the three girls that they can use the Mirror Pad to contact Ellee-chan's parents.

Yoyo says that the Mirror Pad can show any place it wants. She also reveals to the girls that she came from Sky Land, much to Mashiro's shock. Yoyo informs them that to contact Sky Land, the Mirror Pad needs a Sky Jewel, an energy source from Sky Land. Sora and Mashiro are ecstatic and volunteer to go find it. Yoyo says that the Sky Jewel is located on the hill behind the house. The girls bring Ellee-chan with them as they get ready.

In the forest, Mashiro briefly reveals that she is part of Sky Landian as to how she and Sora met. Ellee-chan starts crying again and Mashiro does her very best to cheer her up by blowing into a dandelion. Sora says that when it comes to babies, it's important to understand what they're feeling in the moment. She finds a mushroom on the ground and is about to pick it up. That's when Mashiro stops her and gives her a warning that it is poisonous. She reminds Sora that if you see something that you don't know what it is, you shouldn't touch it. Soon, Ellee-chan starts to get hungry and the girls set up a picnic to feed her.

After burping Ellee-chan, Sora tries one of the Cloud Breads that Mashiro made from Sky Land. Mashiro and Sora get Ellee-chan to learn about Cloud Bread. The three go to a majestic river and Sora's Mirage Pen starts glowing, meaning that the Sky Jewel is nearby. First, they try to find it at a stack of rocks, which falls over due to Ellee-chan's sneeze, then at a huge boulder, which Sora uses Sky Land Divine Fist, the ancient art of Sky Land, to break open. But it happens to be a fossil. Finally, they found it at the river. Sora is so happy that her strong jumps make the rocks fall, also catching Kabaton's attention.

Kabaton finds Ellee-chan in the girls' hands and summons a bamboo Ranborg. Sora transforms into Cure Sky to fight it but is nearly attacked by the bamboo plants. She manages to punch it at a rock. The Ranborg fires bamboo rockets, which Sky dodges them. Sky also saves Mashiro and Ellee-chan by throwing the rocket away. After a lot of punches and dodging, Sky purifies the Ranborg with Sky Punch.

Feeling defeated, Kabaton chows down on the mushrooms that Sora encountered earlier. He starts to suffer a bad stomachache, prompting Sky to tell him what Mashiro said about touching things that you don't know. After Kabaton retreats, Mashiro thanks Sora for saving her.

Back at home, the girls bring the Sky Jewel to Yoyo to activate the Mirror Pad's connection. Ellee-chan is happy to see her parents again, thus also learning that she is a princess from Sky Land. Sora and Mashiro are glad that she is feeling a lot better now. After saying goodbye, Sora draws all of the things she did today on her new Hero Notebook. Though she doesn't feel lonely, she has Mashiro by her side.
