Hand In Hand! Our New Attack! (手と手をつないで！私たちの新しい技！ Te to Te wo Tsunaide! Watashitachi no Atarashī Waza!)? is the 5th episode of Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure and is the 923rd episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.
Summary[]
Sora dreams that Prism is attacked by Ranborg. Tortured by her thoughts, Sora tells Mashiro, "I don't want you to transform into a Pretty Cure" and tries to protect Ellee all by herself.

Synopsis[]
Mashiro writes a letter to Ageha about her craziest days, her and Sora being Pretty Cure, and fighting Kabaton. Sora has a nightmare about her not protecting Mashiro from a monster.
The next day, Yoyo explains the Pretty Cure's origins to protect Sky Land, which is an old legend that people have forgotten. Mashiro realizes that Ellee-chan's power was Sky Land's princess power and wants to do training with Sora. Sora unexpectedly blurts out the Kabaton opened the tunnel and walks off in embarrassment.
Meanwhile at an Oden stand, Kabaton rants about him being defeated by the Pretty Cure while fueling himself up. Then suddenly, the area around Kabaton changes, and a mysterious voice is heard, still needing Ellee-chan. Kabaton eats all the Oden and feels the spiciness in his taste buds, promising to defeat the Pretty Cure.
At Pretty Holic, Mashiro finds a perfume but sees Sora looking at Ellee-chan. Sora encourages Mashiro not to transform anymore due to the nightmare she had yesterday. She also declines protecting Ellee-chan with Mashiro and decides to fight alone in order to get stronger.
Later, Kabaton sucks all the Oden energy and summons a train Ranborg, charging all of the citizens of Sorashido. After transforming, Cure Sky leaves Mashiro behind to confront the Ranborg. She tries using Sky Punch on it, but the Ranborg's fist is so strong that it sends Sky to the ground. Ellee-chan starts to get a happy emotion and Mashiro gets the chance to transform into Cure Prism. Prism and Ellee-chan catch up with Sky at the building rooftop. Kabaton and the Ranborg charges at them, but Prism lures them away, causing the Ranborg to destroy the building.
While hiding in the alley, Sky tearfully confesses to Prism that she is not afraid to be alone because Mashiro is her first friend and she trained to become a hero while growing up. Kabaton and Ranborg soon find the girls and chase them. Prism turns down being friends with Sky, causing Ellee-chan to cry. Prism uses her powers to save Ellee-chan from Ranborg. She admits that she is worried about Sky and wants to help her. Sky tearfully accepts Prism's feelings and agrees to fight with her. Ellee-chan grants the two Cures new Sky Tones, giving them their new attack "Updraft Shining," which purifies the Ranborg while Kabaton retreats.
Sky and Prism hold hands as they finally reconcile and become friends again. Back at home, Sora draws herself and Mashiro as the Pretty Cure in her Hero Notebook before she is called to breakfast downstairs.

- Cure Summer appears at the beginning of the ending with a message. She is also seen in the Mirror Pad during the ending as well.
- The title of this episode is a reference to Connecting Our Hands Also Links Our Hearts!!, the first ending theme for Yes! Pretty Cure 5 GoGo!.
- When Sora draws Cure Sky and Cure Prism in the hero notebook, she writes down "ふたりはプリキュア" on the next page. This is a reference to the first season in the franchise, Futari wa Pretty Cure.
- It's revealed that Yoyo knows about the existence of the Pretty Cure because of the legend of one who defended Sky Land against evil in the past.
- Ellee-chan's powers are said to have come from the former princess of Sky Land.
