Wings Of Courage, Fly Cure Wing!! (勇気の翼、飛べキュアウィング！！ Yūki no Tsubasa, Tobe Kyua Wingu!!)? is the 9th episode of Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure and is the 927th episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.
Summary[]
As the saucer-shaped Ranborg rampages above, Ellee is worried and flies out of the house to find Sky and Prism. Tsubasa chases after Ellee to protect her, but winds up getting captured by Ranborg.

Synopsis[]
Tsubasa watches over the city and prepares to rescue Ellee-chan. He turns into his bird form and attempts to fly, but he ends up quickly falling to the ground. After a brief moment of moping, he gets back up, determined to save Elle-chan, and he starts to roll into the city.
Meanwhile, Sky and Prism try to attack the Ranborg, but once Sky gets close enough, Kabaton moves it farther up, leaving Sky to fall back down. The Ranborg attacks again and grazes Sky's cape while she dodges them, but Prism summons some light spheres for Sky to step on so she can land safely. Just then, the Ranborg charges up a powerful laser and fires it at the Cures, defeating them.
Ellee-chan senses the Cures are in danger and flies toward them. Kabaton is about to triumphantly blast the Cures again when Ellee-chan appears on his radar. He contemplates kidnapping her instead when Tsubasa, who has arrived, also appears on the radar to challenge Kabaton. However, Tsubasa doesn't know how to fight Kabaton and is left dodging more of the Ranborg's lasers. Ellee-chan catches up to Tsubasa and offers him a ride in her carrier, which he accepts after some hesitation. Unfortunately, Tsubasa ends up weighing the carrier down and Kabaton captures the two using the Ranborg's Vacuum Beam.
Meanwhile, Sky and Prism awaken in an alley with Ageha, who witnessed Ellee-chan leaving to meet up with them. They watch as Ellee-chan and Tsubasa are sucked into the Ranborg and wonder why Tsubasa is getting involved. The Cures return to the rooftop and Ageha tells them to go ahead with the plan she came up with. Both Sky and Prism jump when Sky uses the soles of Prism's shoes as a launch pad so she can go even higher before Prism uses a light sphere for Sky to use as another platform to jump on. However, the Ranborg is still too far away and Sky falls back to the ground. Ageha apologizes for the plan failing, but the Cures assure her that they'll keep trying.
Inside the Ranborg, Tsubasa tries to comfort Ellee-chan, but in the back of his mind, he feels he's holding Ellee-chan back. Kabaton comes in when Tsubasa stands in his way to protect Ellee-chan. Kabaton tries to dishearten Tsubasa by reminding him that he can't fly, but Tsubasa won't give up. Kabaton still easily defeats him and takes Ellee-chan, but Tsubasa gets back up, wanting to save Ellee-chan because she was just thrown into this unknown world. Kabaton ignores Tsubasa and opens the floor from underneath him, sending him and the carrier into a free fall. With the Cures and Tsubasa out of his way, Kabaton can now easily send Ellee-chan to the Undergu Empire.
Outside, Tsubasa feels he let everyone down, but after remembering seeing Ellee-chan cry, he regains his determination. While Kabaton opens a portal to send Ellee-chan through, Tsubasa changes into his human form and sneaks onto the Ranborg to rescue her. However, just as Tsubasa manages to take back Ellee-chan, Kabaton overhears them and chases after them, but he slips on a banana peel he haphazardly threw on the floor.
Tsubasa gets to a window and lets Ellee-chan go, but she doesn't want to leave without him. Kabaton catches up with them, leaving Tsubasa with no choice but to grab on to Ellee-chan's carrier to escape. Kabaton starts going after them again when Tsubasa decides to let go of the carrier, leaving Ellee-chan to continue alone. As Tsubasa falls, he comes to terms with the fact that he can't fly, but Ellee-chan's cries cause him to stop in mid-air, not wanting to leave him behind despite his protests.
Just then, Kabaton fires another Vacuum Beam to suck Ellee-chan back in. Ellee-chan starts to cry as Kabaton laughs evilly, telling Tsubasa he should've ran away and left her behind when he could. Just as it looked like Kabaton has won, one of Ellee-chan's tears falls on Tsubasa's face, and he angrily screams at Kabaton to stop making fun of her. Then, a bright light shines from Tsubasa's chest, which Sky recognizes as a Pretty Cure light. Tsubasa tells Ellee-chan that he thought he would always remember her face when she rescued him, but now it is his turn to protect her as his Mirage Pen appears before him and he takes it. Kabaton tries to increase the speed of the suction power of the beam, but Sky finally manages to reach the Ranborg and hits it, freeing Ellee-chan. She then gives Tsubasa his Sky Tone, allowing him to transform into Cure Wing.
The others marvel at the arrival of Wing, who uses his newfound flying abilities to take back Ellee-chan. Sky watches tearfully as Wing flies, but she soons loses grip of the Ranborg and starts to fall. However, Wing takes her hand and guides her back down to the roof. As the others praise Wing, he is shocked over the fact that he can fly now. Kabaton charges up another powerful laser, but Wing takes off again to try to stop the Ranborg. Knowing now not to give up after deciding on something, Wing is more determined than ever to protect Ellee-chan. Wing then uses Wing Attack to strike the Ranborg, damaging it to the point where it falls out of the sky, allowing Sky and Prism to use Updraft Shining to purify it. After the fight, the Cures congratulate Wing, and he smiles.
Back at Mashiro's house, Ellee-chan tries to stand up again, and when she loses her balance, Tsubasa catches her. Sora approaches Tsubasa and compliments him for his quick work. Tsubasa thanks Sora and shakes her hand, now cementing their friendship.
