I'm Strongggg! Cure Sky VS Kabaton (ツエェェェ！キュアスカイ対カバトン TUEEE! Kyua Sukai Tai Kabaton)? is the 12th episode of Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure and is the 930th episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.
Summary[]
Kabaton wants to have a 1-on-1 battle with Sora. After three days of training at a campsite, Sora accepts the challenge.

Synopsis[]
At the oden stand, Kabaton tells the owner about what will happen to him if he fails to defeat the Cures. He then spots the Cures runnings errands and leaves to confront them. Kabaton blames Sora in particular for stopping him from kidnapping Ellee-chan the first time, which has since led to him failing every time. He then challenges Sora to a one-on-one duel and promises to never try and take Ellee-chan again if he loses, which Sora accepts.
At Mashiro's house, Sora explains it was her decision to duel against Kabaton, knowing they can't let their guard down as long as he's still after Ellee-chan. They all discuss how serious Kabaton was when he challenged Sora and wonder what his secret weapon will be. However, Mashiro still wants to support Sora and suggests that they go somewhere for Sora to go through intensive training.
Ageha drives the Cures to a campsite while Yoyo finishes preparing the portal back to Sky Land. Ageha imagines what Sora's training will be like, much to Tsubasa's annoyance. They first arrive at a waterfall, where they find an old man meditating. However, they soon learn that he is just there to heal his stiff shoulders, which Ageha failed to research properly. Tsubasa transforms into a bird to communicate with the other birds about finding a decent mountain while the others help set up camp.
Sora stands under the waterfall to help clear her mind while Mashiro cooks and Ageha does research. Sora and Tsubasa later climb a mountain where they find the so-called "Lord of the Mountain", a squirrel. Throughout the next three days, Sora continues to train. During the last night, Tsubasa is worried about what Kabaton's secret move is to the point where he can't fall asleep. However, Mashiro says that all the rest of them can do is support Sora. Sora is glad that they're all confident in her.
The next day, Sora meets up with Kabaton to start the duel, with the rest of the group watching from afar. Kabaton then reveals his secret move: he saved up three days worth of Undergu Energy and he consumes it to make himself bigger and stronger. Everyone is surprised at his move, but Sora doesn't waver and transforms into Cure Sky. She is able to dodge Kabaton's first punch, but it leaves a large impression on the ground, shocking everyone with how much stronger he has become. However, Sky uses the training she did at the camp to help her focus and evade whatever Kabaton threw at her.
Angered, Kabaton starts to crush Sky between his hands and she begins to struggle against him. The rest of the group cheers Sky on though, and she manages to push Kabaton's hands apart farther. Kabaton is upset that Sky is overpowering him, but everyone's support has helped her push on. Sky matches Kabaton's next punch before performing Sky Punch, defeating Kabaton. Everyone is glad that Sky won the battle.
As Kabaton laid on the ground, he sees a dark cloud forming in the sky and starts to panic. He then breaks his promise to not touch Ellee-chan again if he lost by sending a hand made of Undergu Energy to grab her. Mashiro and Tsubasa quickly transform to destroy the hand and get Ellee-chen and Ageha to safety. Prism teams up with Sky to perform Updraft Shining to purify Kabaton.
The storm clouds start to grow bigger, putting everyone an alert. Kabaton is scared knowing that he will meet his end because of his weakness, hence why he'd been acting tough the whole time. The Cures are shocked to hear about the Undergu Empire and how they dispose of anyone they deem weak. Dark energy surrounds Kabaton as he levitates into the sky while he begs for mercy and lightning strikes the ground. Seeing how fearful Kabaton is, Sky rushes in to save him, knowing that it would be the right thing to do. Kabaton recognizes Sky's strength as she pushes him out of the way of the lightning bolt. He accepts his defeat as he falls into a river and the dark clouds part.
As the Cures wonder what the Undergu Empire is, Kabaton is back at the oden stand, having caught a cold. He decides not to dwell in the past anymore and live in the city in hopes of making a new start. The Cures also vow to keep protecting Ellee-chan.
