Exciting! The Best Nursery School Teacher, Cure Butterfly!! (アゲアゲ!最強の保育士 キュアバタフライ!! Ageage! Saikyō no Hoikushi Kyua Batafurai!!)? is the 18th episode of Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure and is the 936th episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.

Summary[]

During her practicum at the nursery school, the children find out Ageha is friends with the Pretty Cures. But one of the children, Takeru, disagrees on what it is to be a Pretty Cure, and runs outside.

Major Events[]

  • Ageha transforms into Cure Butterfly and performs Butterfly Press for the first time.
  • Ageha moves into Yoyo's house.

Synopsis[]

The Cures are battling a fishing rod Ranborg when its attack causes a sign to break off and fly towards a young boy named Takeru. Luckily, Cure Wing knocks it away before it could hit Takeru. Takeru is marveled by Wing, who tells him to run away so he won't get hurt. With everyone out the way, Wing purifies the Ranborg with Wing Attack.

When Battamonda complains again, Ageha calls him a sore loser, causing him to become peeved before leaving, but not before calling her an "outsider". She believes him at first, but the other Cures tell her how important she is regardless of her not having powers. As they head back home, Ageha announces she's starting her practicum at the nursery, and the others encourage her to do her best.

At the Sorashido Nursery, Ageha introduces herself to the class and they instantly take a liking to her. Then, Takeru announces that he thinks the Pretty Cures are the best, and the rest of the class starts talking about how great they are. After Takeru mentions that Wing rescued him recently, Ageha says that Wing would be happy to hear about his praise. This causes her students to ask if she's a Cure as well, but she says she's merely their friend.

At Mashiro's house, Ageha shows them the letters she received from her class, and Tsubasa is flattered by the one from Takeru. The Cures also decide to reply to some of the letters. It is then that Ageha announces that she is staying with them while she works on her practicum. The Cures are happy as they start to dance along with Ageha while she prepares.

The next day, Ageha starts her work at the nursery; playing with the children, learning how to change a diaper, helping her students water the flowers, and sending her class letters from the Cures. While she's taking a rest, another teacher alerts her that Takeru has gotten in a fight with another student. Takeru believes he was in the right for hitting the other student because of how the Cures fight bad guys, but Ageha tells him fighting won't solve everything. Takeru then runs away and chastises Ageha.

Meanwhile, the Cures are hiding outside the nursery to see if the students liked their letters when Tsubasa spots Ageha chasing after Takeru. Tsubasa recognizes the boy while Sora thinks they're just playing a game of tag. Unbeknownst to them, Battamonda is watching from afar as he summons a Ranborg from one of the elephant-shaped watering cans. He recognizes Ageha from earlier and takes great delight at the possibility of defeating the Cures in front of a group of children. The Cures transform and get ready to fight it.

After Wing thanks Takeru for the letter, one of the teachers tries to get the other students to a safe place, but the Ranborg prevents them by shooting water from its trunk. As the Cures fight against the Ranborg, Takeru sneaks away to watch the fight. Meanwhile, Ageha hopes that Ellee-chan is somewhere safe. Battamonda spots Ellee-chan and has the Ranborg aim at her instead. The Cures rush to protect her, but suddenly the Ranborg starts shooting Undergu Energy instead. It traps the Cures in a dome of dark energy and renders them powerless. Battamonda gloats at how easily they fell for his trap and now they can no longer escape.

Battamonda then has the Ranborg attack Takeru, but Ageha gets in its way so it won't hurt him. She carries Takeru on her back while the Ranborg continues to attack. Battamonda enjoys seeing Ageha dodging the attacks, but the chase makes the Ranborg dizzy and fall over. Ageha takes a few moments to catch her breath before scolding Battamonda for always calling her an "outsider". She says the Cures and the children are all precious to her and as a nursery school teacher, and even though she's powerless, she will protect them.

Suddenly, a bright pink light shines from Ageha's chest and a Mirage Pen appears, which she takes. After some encouragement from Takeru, Ageha receives her Sky Tone from Ellee-chan and transforms into Cure Butterfly. Everybody is amazed at Butterfly's appearance, and Takeru cheers her on, but Battamonda isn't fazed and attempts to trap Butterfly like he did the others. However, Butterfly summons a shield to protect herself from the blast of Undergu Energy, much to Battamonda's anger. Butterfly then promises to free the others after she defeats the Ranborg. Butterfly dodges the Ranborg's attacks with ease before using Butterfly Kiss to knock it over. She then takes some tarp off a building and wraps the Ranborg in it before purifying it with Butterfly Press, turning it back into a watering can. The other Cures are freed and Sky collects the Kira Kira Energy with the Mirror Pad. Butterfly then warns Battamonda that he will regret coming after her friends, which frightens him as he retreats.

Takeru embraces Butterfly while she tells him to keep her identity a secret. The other Cures are extremely excited that Butterfly will fight alongside them now and she promises to work hard at being not only being a nursery school teacher, but a Pretty Cure as well. Back at Mashiro's house, after reading another letter from Takeru, Mashiro wishes Ageha would stay over again. Just then, Ageha arrives again and says she will move in with the others, which surprises everybody. Ageha is ready to get excited again.
