Mon-Mon! Mashiro And His Return (もんもん！ましろと帰ってきたアイツ Monmon! Mashiro to Kaette Kita Aitsu)? is the 34th episode of Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure and is the 952nd episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.
Summary[]
After losing to the Pretty Cures, Battamonda is now living in Sorashido City, calling himself "Monda". He disguises himself as an art school student, and approaches Mashiro, who has lost her confidence...

Synopsis[]
At a rundown apartment, Battamonda still feels humiliated after his many defeats at the hands of the Cures and vows to have his revenge. During his tantrum, his next-door neighbor, Kabaton, yells at him to stop screaming because he's tired after working a night shift. After spilling the hot ramen on his foot, Battamonda notices it's time for him to go back to work and he turns into a human. While counting his money, he suddenly hears the Cures and hides in a nearby drain. Mashiro has written another picture book titled The Princess's Flower Garden. She has already written ten books in the series and she hopes everyone likes it like Ellee-chan does. Ageha suggests Mashiro should become a picture book author, and she hopes that someday that dream will come true. Battamonda overhears the conversation and vows to crush Mashiro's dream.
While working as a traffic control worker, Battamonda tries to come up with a plan to trap the Cures, but his boss yells at him for slacking off. Meanwhile, Mashiro is at the Sorashido Library reading her book to some children. While she reads, a couple of little boys start playing around and interrupt her. Their father tries to keep them quiet, but they soon leave, telling Mashiro that her story is boring. She then continues and the rest of the audience loves it, but Mashiro can't help but think of the little boys who hated it. Ageha tells her not to dwell on it so much and they leave the library.
The Cures go to the park and look at the flowers with Ellee-chan while Mashiro goes sit by herself to try and sketch something. She tries to come up with something, but she couldn't. Suddenly, she notices someone drop their paintbrush and tells a man who is walking by her that he dropped it. The man thanks her and introduces himself as Monda, an art student and an aspiring painter. However, he is actually Battamonda, and he thinks him pretending to be one will get Mashiro interested.
Monda then shows Mashiro a painting he allegedly did, but it's actually something he found on the internet. Thinking he would use it to trash Mashiro's art, Monda asks her about her art style, but she says she's not really that good. He is surprised to learn that Mashiro's confidence is already low. After Mashiro tells Monda what happened, he prepares to crush her dream once and for all while she's still low. He suggests she quit becoming a picture book author if she can't avoid getting bad reviews. He's about to succeed while Skearhead watches over the park, ready to cause trouble.
Continuing with their conversation, Monda tells Mashiro he wasn't bothered after other people told him his art was boring and also she should prepare for criticism. Inside, he is sure that he's convinced Mashiro to quit doing art. However, Sora and Ellee-chan meet up with them and Mashiro introduces Monda to them. Sora asks Monda to show her his art and while he searches his phone, Sora stares at his canvas and thinks it's his painting. Meanwhile, Ellee-chan asks Mashiro to swing with her and realizes that Ellee-chan learned that from one of her books.
Tsubasa and Ageha join everyone and Sora shows them the blank canvas. Monda tries to stay calm, but he's now scared the Cures will figure out his identity. Ageha thinks she's seen Monda before, while Ellee-chan grabs onto his leg. He starts to become scared that one of them will see through his disguise. Ellee-chan spots a grasshopper on his head and says "Batta", causing him to think she figured out who he really is. The group tries to catch the grasshopper, making Monda think they're surrounding him. Suddenly, Skearhead appears, and Monda is relieved until he remembers the Undergu Empire will execute him for his failures and hides. Skearhead then summons a Kyoborg, a stronger version of the Ranborg, using a skateboard and a frisbee a couple of boys were holding. All of the Cures then transform to confront the new monster. Monda is shocked to find out that Ellee-chan can become a Cure now.
The Cures start fighting against the Kyoborg, but they instantly struggle with it as it uses its frisbee to knock them out one by one. Majesty is able to destroy its frisbees, but it then summons a stronger one that knocks her out as well. Prism doesn't know what they should do against the stronger Kyoborg, but the others say they should continue to fight because they're prepared to struggle and protect what's most precious to them. This causes Prism to remember her swinging with Ellee-chan and she realizes what she must do.
As the Cures get ready to fight, Prism glances at Monda and also gets what he was trying to tell her. The Kyoborg tries to create another giant frisbee, but Prism attacks before it can finish, allowing Sky and Majesty to flip it over. Wing gets a speed boost from Butterfly and weakens the Ranborg before they use Majestic Halation to purify it. Skearhead thinks things are about to begin before retreating, while Monda notices the Cures have gotten stronger.
That night, Mashiro understands that not everyone will like her stories. The next day, she meets a hungry Monda again and thanks him for the advice. Even if one child enjoys her stories, that's enough for her to keep pursuing her dream of becoming a picture book author. Monda is confused because he meant to discourage her, but she tells him she supports his dream too before she leaves. Mashiro is now more excited than ever to keep drawing.
