Synopsis[]

The Cures are enjoying some autumn foods from their neighbors and thinking about the different activities they can do now that the weather is cooling off. Sora wants to do some training while Ellee-chan wants to walk and Tsubasa would like to do some learning. Mashiro announces that she will enter the picture book contest again and aims to win an award this time.

The Cures are all full from eating so much while Mashiro starts to work on her picture book. Unfortunately, she can't come up with a theme. Tsubasa suggests she should submit one she already wrote, but Mashiro needs to write a new one to compete with the others. Sora comments on how motivated Mashiro is, but despite it, she still doesn't have any ideas and becomes overwhelmed. Sora tries to massage Mashiro's shoulders, but they are too stiff. Yoyo enters with a basket filled with leaves and one of them falls, which catches Ellee-chan's eye. Seeing how she's admiring the leaves, Ageha decides to go to the park and gather some more. Mashiro wants to stay behind to keep working, but the others drag her out.

At the park, Battamonda, as Monda, is now working at a food truck and he helps clean up some juice that a little boy accidentally dropped. He gets the boy another one, but he's still annoyed. His boss gives them gives him a meal so he can take a break. While sitting on a bench, Monda is still angry that his plans to defeat the Cures have failed. Then, he sees Kabaton selling baked potatoes and seemingly enjoying his new life. At first, Monda seems fine that Kabaton can't return to the Undergu Empire either, but he realizes he isn't any different and becomes afraid that he'll hit rock bottom soon.

Meanwhile, the Cures are admiring the leaves and Ellee-chan gives Mashiro a pile of them. She notices how different the colors and shapes of the leaves are. Sora tries to massage Mashiro's shoulders again and notices she is more relaxed now. The other Cures go to gather more leaves and cheer Mashiro on as she starts working on her book again. She starts drawing leaves and thinks of how the story should go. Meanwhile, Monda watches her and grows angry at how happy she is. Suddenly, a cold breeze starts to blow and Monda appears to give her a bottle of warm milk tea.

Monda sits next to Mashiro and she tells him about the picture book contest and how she wants to win an award this time. Monda attempts to crush her dream again, telling her how trying hard doesn't always work. Thinking of his training sessions at the Undergu Empire, Monda says only a few people with the power and the talent can achieve their dreams, despite how much they would give it their all. He thinks that Mashiro shouldn't dream because she will only become disappointed. Meanwhile, Skearhead overhears Monda and recognizes him.

Mashiro senses that Monda is unhappy and asks if he's disappointed, much to his shock. He claims that he isn't frustrated and he's just thinking about the fallen leaves and how they get stomped on. Mashiro doesn't think that way and says the leaves fall so the tree can survive the winter and also to be used as nutrition for the tree. Monda seems to cheer up, but he quickly runs away. Meanwhile, the other Cures prepare to leave after it starts to cool off, but Sora is wondering where Mashiro is.

While Mashiro looks for Monda, he sits alone and frightened. Suddenly, Skearhead approaches him, having figured out he is Battamonda. Skearhead doesn't like how carelessly Monda had been living and found his attempts to get stronger to be unsightly. He also doesn't like how Battamonda gave up on finding Ellee-chan and targeted the Cures instead, and someone with no value shouldn't exist. Mashiro comes across the confrontation just as Skearhead is about to kill Monda. He is about to fire a ball of Undergu Energy at Monda when Mashiro protects him and orders Skearhead to stop. She doesn't find Monda to be worthless, and Skearhead stops the attack, instead summoning a Kyoborg using a food truck and an umbrella. Mashiro tells Monda to retreat and joins the other Cures to transform.

The Kyoborg moves quickly and launches its umbrella at the Cures. Sky and Majesty learn the umbrella deflects its attacks by spinning. Butterfly tries to protect everyone from it, but the Kyoborg comes from behind and fires cups at them. Wing tries to help, but he's hit by the umbrella. Prism goes to Wing, but she's struck by the cups as well. Skearhead declares that the powerless have no value while the Cures struggle to get up. Prism still thinks that power isn't related to value, but Skearhead ignores her and has the Kyoborg attack again.

Prism comes up with a plan to stop the umbrella from spinning. She uses Prism Shot and has Sky and Wing pass it to each other to stop it, while Majesty kicks Butterfly's shield at the Kyoborg. After they weaken it, they purify it with Majestic Halation. Skearhead is impressed that the weak can get stronger if they work together. While Monda retreats, Sky charges at Skearhead and tries to punch him, but he catches it. Sky demands to know what the Undergu Empire's motives are, and he says they do it because the one they love tells them to. He calls Sky naive and prepares an attack, but Wing pushes her away and Skearhead retreats. However, the word "naive" stays with Sky.

On their way back home, Mashiro announces that she has come up with a theme for her picture book, and she hopes that it will cheer up readers who are struggling. They all start walking home while Monda still watches them as they still don't know he's their enemy. However, he reflects on what Mashiro said about fallen leaves and walks in the opposite direction.
