Synopsis[]

In the Undergu Empire, Skearhead mentions how much stronger the Cures have become, and Empress Undergu decides that it's her time for her to get back on the battlefield, and face them. Despite Skearhead's concerns for her injuries, Empress Undergu tells Skearhead he is all she has. Meanwhile, the Cures arrive at Sky Land after receiving news of a strange tunnel appearing that attacked and severely injured the Azure Guards, and they have to make sure it doesn't reach the city.

The Cures arrive at the plains where the attack occurred, but they can't find anything. Suddenly, Sora sees a mysterious young woman standing alone. She calls out to the woman to find somewhere safe, but she says there isn't such a place. Then, the woman is swallowed by a swirl of Undergu Energy and reveals her true form: Empress Undergu. The Cures are shocked at her appearance, and after she blasts them with more Undergu Energy, she sets her sights on Ellee-chan, hoping to take revenge against her for something that had happened 300 years ago. Ageha tries to ask what the Empress means, but Ellee-chan doesn't know. The Cures then all transform to battle the Empress.

Sky attempts to reason with Empress Undergu to find out what happened 300 years ago so they don't have to fight, but she ignores Sky and threatens to send armies of Ranborgs to obliterate Sky Land. She then goads them into using Majestic Halation, which they do, but she overpowers the attack easily and forces them all to de-transform. The Empress when approaches a weakened Ellee-chan and blames her for everything that had happened. She is about to kill Ellee-chan when the Majestic Chroniclon suddenly glows and causes time to stop. Ellee-chan awakens Sora and Mashiro and as they try to figure out what happened, the Majestic Chroniclon's pages glow again and the trio are transported to what looks like a city in Sky Land.

While Sora and Mashiro try to figure out where they are, Ellee-chan goes looking around and runs into a carriage pulled by two birds. As the birds are asking her questions, a mysterious young woman asks her if she's alright. Sora and Mashiro catch up to Ellee-chan and Sora apologizes to the woman. One of the birds introduces her as Princess Elleelain. Sora and Mashiro are surprised that she's a princess while Ellee-chan is elated that she shares her name. Sora and Mashiro try to figure out what's going on because it doesn't look like present-day Sky Land and there's a princess before them. Elleelain notices how troubled they are and offers them to continue their conversation at the castle. When Sora asks Elleelain what year is it, she answers 556, meaning the Majestic Chroniclon sent them 300 years into the past to find out why Empress Undergu wants revenge on Ellee-chan.

In Princess Elleelain's castle, Sora explains the legend of Sky Land to her, about how it was attacked by monsters, the princess praying for a hero, and the legendary Pretty Cure appearing to save them. Elleelain thinks the legend is strange, but there was a monster that appeared that everyone worked together to defeat. Sora, Mashiro, and Ellee-chan attempt to transform to prove themselves right, but nothing happens. Elleelain then escorts them to their bedroom and when Sora thanks, Ellee-chan thought Sora was referring to her. Since both her and Elleelain are princesses with the same name, Mashiro becomes confused. Before leaving them, Elleelain asks what Sky Land is like in the future, and Sora and Mashiro describe all the good things about it and how as the Cures, they must protect it. Elleelain hopes that she can believe in the Cures in the future.

Meanwhile, multiple portals open up in the sky, bringing forth hundreds of Ranborgs. Emperor Undergu then appears and commands his army to attack Sky Land. Their army tried to stop the Ranborgs, but they were too strong for them to handle, and they begin laying siege on the city. Emperor Undergu promises to crush any weaklings that are before him. The Cures watch the battle unfold, but they can't do anything since they can't transform. However, Sora couldn't just stand by while innocent people are getting hurt, so she jumps off the balcony to help.

Once landing, Sora rescues a little boy and tells him to evacuate and manages to tie up the Ranborg without using her Cure powers. Elsewhere, the soldiers manage to defeat a Ranborg, but Emperor Undergu summons an even stronger one to defeat them. Sora tries to help more people evacuate, but the Ranborgs start surrounding her. Luckily, the others come to her rescue and they escape to the top of a hill. The Sky Landians are scared and saddened because now there's nowhere for them to go. Elleelain is devastated that that Emperor has destroyed Sky Land and starts to cry. She walks up to the hill and starts to pray.

Sora and Mashiro recognize it as part of the legend, meaning the legendary Pretty Cure will appear. However, to their surprise, Elleelain transformed, meaning she was the legendary Cure. The mysterious Cure introduces herself as Cure Noble, and the Sky Landians kneel before her. The other Cures are awestruck at Noble's appearance, and Sora wonders what the Majestic Chroniclon will show them next. Meanwhile, Emperor Undergu is proud of the destruction he brought upon Sky Land, and his daughter, the Empress, calls out to him. He scolds her for entering the battlefield and is disappointed at Skearhead for bringing her. As the two leave, the Empress worriedly glances at her father, not wanting him to fight.
