Synopsis[]

Sora and Mashiro help the Puni Bird Tribe to hide and tell them to stay until the fighting ends. They then go to watch Cure Noble battle another Ranborg. She performs Magic Hour's End to purify it and she then asks Emperor Undergu why he would attack a defenseless Puni Bird village. He still believes that strength is everything, but Noble asks what if it's actually not. As the Emperor retreats, the Puni Birds thank Noble for saving them, and she invites them the royal city while they help rebuild it.

At the Undergu Empire, Empress Undergu says that the more she learns about how "strength is everything", the less she believes it. However, Skearhead still believes it because of how they were all born from the Sea of Undergu Energy, but the Empress has her doubts. Back at the royal city, Mashiro helps make cloud bread and yakitai for the Puni Birds while Sora helps some of the villagers destroy a giant rock. From a distance, Empress Undergu watches them rebuild while thinking about attempting to convince her father to stop fighting. However, he still intends to in case Sky Land plans on invading them. Despite that, he still cares for her and wants her to get stronger.

Suddenly, a couple of angry birds try to talk Empress Undergu down. She lands before them and they begin to harass her by asking questions. They mention that the world is all about strength, which upsets the Empress again, but Princess Elleelain chases the birds off. Elleelain tells her that she's welcome to come anytime, but she also notices that the Empress looks scared. She asks Elleelain if strength really is everything, and she says it isn't because fighting only brings tears. The Empress is surprised that Elleelain feels the same way and starts telling her something.

Back at the castle, Sora and Mashiro are shocked that Elleelain has met Empress Undergu, knowing how different she was compared to the present. Elleelain says that the Empress wants to stop the fighting by convincing her father to stop, and to forgive him if he plans on doing anything else. The Cures aren't sure if Elleelain can believe the Empress, but she must, or else nothing will change. The Cures then decide to believe in Elleelain and continue to rebuild the city while Empress Undergu tries talking her father into calling a truce.

That night, Elleelain meets with Emperor Undergu and the Empress, glad that she was able to convince her father. However, it all turns out to be a trap to lure Elleelain out of the city so Skearhead could summon more Ranborgs. Emperor Undergu asks if she were to forgive him for tricking her. He then traps the Empress in an orb of Undergu Energy while he begins to attack Elleelain. Deeply angered by his betrayal, Elleelain transforms into Cure Noble and viciously attacks him. The Emperor is impressed by Noble's strength while the Empress begs them to stop.

Back in the city, Sora confronts a Ranborg and calls it out for cowardly attacking the weak and has it chase after her. Elsewhere, Mashiro and Ellee-chan are doing the same until all three of them meet at the same spot. Using Ellee-chan's powers, Sora is able to fly out of the way while Mashiro flies on her bird mount, causing the three Ranborg to collide into each other. They notice that Noble and Emperor Undergu are fighting, so they'll continue to protect the city.

While Noble and Emperor continue dueling, Empress Undergu is still pleading for them to stop and tries to break free. The Emperor then sends forth an army of Ranborgs and Noble fights through them all. As the assault continues, the Empress manages to form a crack in the barrier. After going through the last of the Ranborgs, Noble prepares to finish off the Emperor with Magic Hour's End, but to her shock, Empress Undergu takes the hit and Undergu Energy starts seeping from her wound. Emperor Undergu starts to cry as his daughter falls to the ground, but she still hopes her father will realize that strength isn't everything. She then asks Noble if she could forgive him. Despite being horrified for what she'd done, Noble asks the Emperor if there's any way to close the Empress's wound, but he isn't sure.

In the city, the Ranborgs suddenly disappear, while Skearhead becomes afraid that the Emperor is changing his ways. Soon after, everyone learns that the Emperor was able to close his daughter's wound using his Undergu Energy. Elleelain declares that she had made a mistake by going against her own code and fighting the Emperor, but the Empress reminded her how much pain it would bring. From that day forward, Sky Land and the Undergu Empire have declared peace, and everyone celebrates. As soon as that happens, Sora, Mashiro, and Ellee-chan are sent back to the present, much to Elleelain's confusion.

The three of them arrive back at present day Sky Land and time unfreezes. Sora and Mashiro tell the Empress about how she helped stop the battle between the two factions and ask why she's changed now. They explain everything that they saw, but Empress Undergu only becomes angrier and summons a large sphere of Undergu Energy. The Cures transform, but the Empress makes the sphere even bigger than before. Still, the Cures uses Majestic Halation again to fight against it.

As the two attacks collide, Sky, Prism, and Majesty try to talk Empress Undergu into stopping the fighting so they can discuss what happened in the past, but she still doesn't want to listen to them. Sky tries to make her remember how she once thought fighting only brings tears, but the Empress still wants them to be quiet. Suddenly, her wound reopens and forces her to call off her attack. Right before Majestic Halation could hit her, Skearhead appears and protects her from it. Sky tries to fly back down to the Empress, but it's too late as the two of them retreat. While Prism discusses to Wing and Butterfly what happened, Majesty promises Sky they will try to talk to Empress Undergu again.
