Heartiels (ハーチイエル Hāteieru)? are twelve fairy-like creatures representing the will of the Queen in Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart. The girls must find each one and store it in the Queen Chairect, the heart of the Queen, to make her whole once more. Each represents a virtue and when needed, Seekun will turn a knob to release the one they need.
History[]
The series begins in the Garden of Light, with the Queen explaining to Elder and the Guardian of the Prism Stones that she was greatly wounded by the power released by the Evil King when he diedFwPC49, and she must return to her original form. The Queen then bursts into multiple balls of light, representing her life, heart, and the twelve Heartiels that collectively form her will.
Elder and the Guardian make their way to the Garden of Rainbows, where they explain the situation to the Pretty Cure and introduce Seekun, the first of the Heartiels. Seekun escapes from Nagisa's house several times to search for the Queen all on her own, until Nagisa forces Elder, Wisdom and Seekun to live with Honoka while in the Garden of Rainbows.FwPCMH04
Seekun finds the second Heartiel, Pation, in episode 6 and the Cures meet him in the next episode.
The third Heartiel, Harmonin, wakes up within a chest in a department store, which the Pretty Cure must defend from a Zakenna. Harmonin joins the other Heartiels once she sees Shiny Luminous and recognizes her as being the Queen's life.FwPCMH10
The Queen Chairect appears, and Seekun explains it as the place where the Heartiels reside. Both Harmonin and Pation decide to enter, but Seekun says she must enter last, as the twelfth and final Heartiel.FwPCMH11

The fifth Heartiel, Inteligen, is impressed by Honoka's devotion to studying and reveals herself to the Pretty Cure. Before she returns to the chairect, Inteligen gives each of the girls a notebook.
The sixth Heartiel, Wishun, appears. She repeatedly says that "the truth" is approaching, but her warning only confuses the Pretty Cure.
When the Cures are struggling to defeat Baldez, Seekun reveals her ability to summon Heartiels out of the Queen Chairect. She summons Intelligen, who speaks a prophecy of where the Cures can find a power-up.FwPCMH22 The girls go to Lake Hyoutan with Seekun and Intelligen to look for the "shining piece of Earth surrounded by six pillars".FwPCMH23
