Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure ~Hero Girls~ (ひろがるスカイ！プリキュア～Hero Girls～)^? is the opening theme for the Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure series, sung by Ishii Ami. The song debuted in episode 1 on February 5^th, 2023.

Sequence[]

Cure Sky's cape flutters in the wind, before Sky grabs Prism's hand, followed by Wing and Butterfly to soar into the sky. The scene cuts to Sora putting on her shoes, then to a door opening, that shows Sora running with Ellee-chan and Mashiro to Sorashido City. The title of the season then appears in the blue sky.

Sora practices her punches and kicks before a clear sky with a rainbow, followed by Tsubasa yawning as Mashiro holds a thristy Ellee-chan in a green house. The scene is followed by quick cuts of Sora poking her cheeks, Mashiro striking a cute pose, a happy Ellee-chan, Yoyo holding a mirror, and then Sora and Mashiro together with Ellee-chan. Sora stands in an empty room, remembering the time her younger self looked up at the hero she admires. Hyped, Sora grabs her Mirage Pen, followed by a projected version of Sky jumping into the air.

In a dark cave, we see Kabaton striking a pose with his Ranborgs, followed by Prism helping Sky, and Wing helping Butterfly. As Ellee-chan starts to cry, quick cuts of the 4 Cures appear, followed by a shot of the Sky Mirage lighting up. The 4 Cures are now on their feet, with Sky aggressively fighting Ranborgs, Prism shooting pink beams at the Ranborgs, Wing dodging attacks and kicking a Ranborg, and lastly Butterfly causing the ground to crumble beneath the Ranborgs.

Mashiro does Sora's make-up with Pretty Holic products, followed by the pair being driven by someone. Sora and Mashiro, who is holding Ellee-chan, then stand outside Mashiro's house. Sora takes a step forward, with a shot of past Sora walking away with a bag on her back, before spinning around, and getting a close up of Sora's eye. We then have a shot of Sky and Prism standing before Sky Land's castle, where they then run forward, and de-transform back into Sora and Mashiro while holding Ellee-chan in a mid-air jump.

Starting from episode 10, several scenes were updated to include Tsubasa, including the shot of Sora and Mashiro running into the city and the end shot of them in mid-air. In addition to that, the front window of Ageha's car is now clear, revealing her driving with Tsubasa also inside now.

Starting from episode 15, Captain Shalala's face is shown.

Starting from episode 19, those same scenes were updated again to include Ageha.

Starting from episode 33, Majesty is included during the Cures' fight against the Ranborgs.

The villains of the Undergu Empire also get changed from Kabaton to Battamonda, Minoton, Skearhead, and later Empress Undergu, along with her younger self, Emperor Undergu, and Cure Noble.

Trivia[]

This is the first opening song in the Pretty Cure franchise to be sung by Ishii Ami.
The scene where Cure Prism is trying to help Cure Sky get back on her feet is a reference to the scene in DANZEN! Futari wa Pretty Cure with Cure Black helping Cure White.
- The scenes where Cure Prism helps Cure Sky, and Cure Wing helps Cure Butterfly, are both reenacted in episode 31, when the four Cures refuse to give up during their first fight against Skearhead.
The opening was animated by series' character designer, Saitou Atsushi.
Each villain who is placed with the Ranborgs get replaced after they are defeated or defected from the Undergu Empire.
