Hoshinoya (星野屋)?, literally Hoshino's, is a fishing boat rental shop run by Hoshino Kengo and Hoshino Shizue in Futari wa Pretty Cure Splash Star. Their son, Kenta, often helps too. The shop is located in the bay area of Ocean Town Yuunagi.
They plan fishing excursions and provide hospitality and safety on board. Shizue is responsible for finances and Kengo accompanies customers as the ship's captain. They have extensive knowledge of different kinds of fish, fish occurrence around Yuunagi, how to catch fish and prepare them.
Their boat, Taiyomaru (太陽丸)? was purchased in the year when Kenta was born and takes the ta (太)? from his name.FwPCSS10
Because Kengo wanted to be a stand-up comedian when he was younger, Shizue and him often perform a manzai like comedy routine involving puns to entertain the guests.
