Ruru's Papa!? Amour, That Is... (ルールーのパパ！？アムール、それは... Rūrū no Papa!? Amūru, Sore wa...?) is the 40th episode of HUGtto! Pretty Cure and is the 724th episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.

Summary

Emiru and the other girls wonder why Doctor Traum is Ruru's dad. Harry then says that Ruru is designed by Doctor Traum. Traum then shows what the future is going to be like by presenting a puppet show. Saaya the comments how cute it is.

Major Events

  • It is revealed that Hugtan used to be a Pretty Cure named Cure Tomorrow who fought alongside three other Cures against Criasu in the future and freed Harry from Criasu's imprisonment, restraining his monster form with his chain in the process.
    • While escaping Criasu's imprisonment alongside Harry, she uses the Mirai Crystal White to invoke the Mother's powers, sending the two to the present. As a result, she reverts into her current form of Hugtan.
  • It is also revealed that Doctor Traum is Ruru's father, creating her after losing his own daughter.
  • The Cures also learn that Hugtan, Harry, and Ruru would have to return to the future soon after Criasu is defeated, which devastates Emiru.
