Kimi to Idol Pretty Cure♪ (キミとアイドルプリキュア♪ lit. You and Idol Pretty Cure♪)? is the twenty-second installment in the Pretty Cure franchise.
Directed by Kon Chiaki, and produced by Toei Animation, the series will start airing on February 2nd, 2025, succeeding Wonderful Pretty Cure! in its initial time slot.
The series' main motif is idols.

Kimi to Idol Pretty Cure♪ was first trademarked on November 29th, 2024[1]. On the same day, the teaser website launched. On January 5th, 2025, the official site launched.[2]

Synopsis
I'm Sakura Uta, a second year student who loves to sing!
One day, while walking my dog, Kyu-chan, I was taken by surprise! A big peach-like thing came floating down the river, where I met the cute talking fairy, Purirun!
Purirun has come to search for the Legendary Protectors "Idol Pretty Cure"! Purirun's hometown, KirakiLand was a peaceful place full of sparkles, but it has been plunged into total darkness by Darkine, the boss of the Chokkiri Gang.
So together with Purirun, I decided to search for the Idol Pretty Cure who can illuminate the darkness with light! Maybe it should be the type of person who's bright and happy!
But then the Chokkiri Gang appears in Hanamichi Town, and steals the sparkles of the townspeople... it's a huge pinch!
"I want to make it sparkle! With my song!"
The moment I made that decision, the Pretty Cure Ribbon and Idol Heart Brooch appeared, and I transformed into the Legendary Protector, Cure Idol!

Pretty Cure
- Sakura Uta (咲良うた)?: A 2nd year middle school student who loves to sing! Uta is a bright and energetic girl. It's common for her to sing her feelings on the spot. She loves things that are sparkling, lively, and full of smiles, which give off a "KiraKiranran" feeling. Her catchphrase is "Kirakkiranran~♪" (キラッキランラン～♪)?. With an "Idol Smile" as fan service, Uta transforms into Cure Idol (キュアアイドル)?.
- Aokaze Nana (蒼風なな)?: A 2nd-year middle school student in the same class as Uta. Nana is good at playing the piano, and is a kind and intelligent girl. With "Winking" as fan service, Nana transforms into Cure Wink (キュアウインク)?.
- Shigure Kokoro (紫雨こころ)?: A 1st year middle school student, one grade below Uta. Kokoro is good at dancing, and is a reliable girl who hides her passion inside. Her catchphrase is "My heart is fluttering!" (心キュンキュンしてます！)?. With a "Kyun-Kyun Pose" as fan service, Kokoro transforms into Cure Kyun-Kyun (キュアキュンキュン)?.

- Purirun (プリルン)?: A fairy who came from KirakiLand to search for the Idol Pretty Cure. They have a laid-back, easygoing personality. When they blinks their eyes, sparkling lights can be seen. Purirun often ends their sentences with "~Puri" (～プリ)?.
- Meroron (メロロン)?: A fairy who came from KirakiLand. They have a strong-willed and cheeky personality. Meroron often ends their sentences with "~Mero" (～メロ)?.
