King Jikochuu

King Jikochuu (キングジコチュー Kingu Jikochuu^?) (or King Mercenare in the English Dub Glitter Force Doki Doki) is the main antagonist of the season Doki Doki! Pretty Cure. He is responsible for the destruction of the Trump Kingdom and is the leader of the Selfish group and the Jikochuu. It is revealed in episode 45 that the Selfish King is, in fact, the former Trump Kingdom's King and his two daughters Regina and Aguri being the darkness and light of Marie Ange.

Appearance[]

He appears as a large black figure, full of thorns and with a kind of helmet with horns on his head. His eyes are red and he appears laughing cruelly.

His resurrected body is muscular and he has hands and legs like Akudaikan.

Personality[]

He is cruel but becomes impatient when his servants repeat their failures against the Cures. Regina threatens to tell him if the Selfish Trio doesn't take orders from her. He cares deeply for Regina and he decided to make her as the second in command of the generals. He treats his daughter well. However, he would get angry and cruel if Regina disobeys him and would forcibly turn her evil to remind her that she's King Jikochuu's daughter and second in command of the generals, not the friend or ally of the Cures, although this utterly failed in episode 49.

The Destruction of the Trump Kingdom[]

He has sent monsters called, Jikochuus, to conquer the Trump Kingdom. This causes Cure Sword's defeat and the disappearance of Princess Marie Ange. He sent his subjects, the Selfish group to Earth to find the princess through Cure Sword.

Trivia[]

King Jikochuu shares his English voice actor with the Akanbe from Smile Pretty Cure!.
In episode 46, it was revealed that King Jikochuu was released by the Trump Kingdom, whose body he used to be reborn.
His overall appearance resembles the Greek deity Kronos.
King Jikochuu may be based on Lucifer, who represents the sin of Pride.
