Summary[]
Ever since the Dark Night Light video, business at PANPAKA Pan has been booming. Seeing how well Saki has been working at the shop, her parents consider letting her take over the business. Even Saki's fiancé supports her taking over the family business. However, Mai alone notices something isn't right with Saki.

Synopsis[]
While Cure Dream and Cure Rouge defeat more Shadows, Dream's Time Flower starts dimming again, causing her to collapse again. However, Dream thinks it's because of her juggling work and being a Pretty Cure. Meanwhile, Mai receives a message from the group chat while Saki ignores her phone while baking a batch of bread.
The next day, Mai visits PANPAKA Pan Bakery, whose business is still booming thanks to Dark Night Light's advertisement, and learns that Saki plans on taking over the business one day while Daisuke works on becoming an apprentice at a Japanese confectionary.
On the train, Saki tells Mai how she plans on staying nearby after getting married and that her fiancé plans on opening a restaurant near PANPAKA Pan that will use the town's fresh vegetables. Saki then notices she forgot to put her engagement ring back on. Later, Mai reveals that she might get a project as an illustrator because a client liked the one she showed them, and Saki takes her to a bread restaurant to celebrate. While there, Saki explains how different bread is in France compared to Japan, and Mai notices how Saki always seems to enjoy herself when talking about it. Saki says that the manager studied in France, which causes her to start thinking about things when the two receive a message from Kurumi.
At Café and Bar Time, Kurumi shows everyone a Dark Night Light video reporting a new type of Shadow, which gets them to talking about their videos while Saki and Mai think their voices sound familiar. Komachi suggests visiting the clock tower again while Kouji thinks the Shadows are becoming stronger, but Nozomi assures them they can handle it. On the way home, Mai feels she hasn't been that helpful and they have to do something, but a noticeably tense Saki asks what she meant. Hiding her feelings, Saki leaves to catch the bus, but Mai senses something is off.
Saki continues to improve on her bread while reading about a breadmaking course in France when she receives a couple of messages from her fiancé and remembers her conversation with Mai from earlier. Just then, Mai texts her asking if she could take Saki out. The next day, the two of them visit the Sky Tree, with Mai hoping Saki will open up about what's been bothering her. Saki says that she's been thinking about studying bread abroad, but isn't planning on telling her anyone because she's about to get married and take over PANPAKA Pan's business. However, Mai tells Saki she should tell her parents and fiancé anyway because that is just as important as thinking about others and that she would support her decision.
Just then, shadowy orbs hit the same businesspeople planning on clearing the area and their shadows combined to form a giant cloud-like Shadow with long tentacles. It appears before Saki and Mai and the two try to escape, but it wraps Mai's ankle with its tentacle and drags her away while wrapping another around Saki's body. Suddenly, someone frees them and they are shocked to find out that it was Michiru and Kaoru. Bell correctly assumes they aren't human and asks who they are. Michiru and Kaoru explain they are from Dark Fall and were originally born from darkness, but now instead they want to share the beautiful things they have found in the world with everyone and help them realize how precious it is. This angers Bell, who has the Shadow trap Michiru and Kaoru before showing everyone an illusion of the world dying because of humanity. The Shadow then slams the Kiryuu sisters into the ground.
Mai tells Saki that they should try to transform into Pretty Cure, but Saki refuses at first, feeling that she has changed since growing up. However, Mai reminds her that she's indeed still the same and always moves forward no matter how the heavy the burden gets. Saki takes her hand and their Time Flowers bloom, de-aging them and giving them their Crystal Communes. They then transform into Cure Bloom and Cure Egret again. Bell becomes even more angered and tells the Cures to stay out of her way, but they quickly attack the Shadow, weakening it before using Spiral Heart Splash to defeat it. After the battle, Saki and Mai are glad they have been able to transform again like they did in the past, and Saki thanks Mai for helping her.
That night, Saki tells her parents that she is interested in studying abroad in Strasbourg, France. To her surprise, her parents support her decision. She also tells them her fiancé is also supportive of her and wants her to be happy. She also tells Daisuke that the sweetshop Komachi would be willing to help him out on his apprenticeship.
At Café and Bar Time, the Cures celebrate everything working out perfectly when they learn that Michiru and Kaoru, who are also there, are Dark Night Light. They tell the group they have also been investigating Bell and learned that the attacks mainly originated from the clock tower. Nozomi wants to go to the tower, but her Time Flower starts dimming again and a petal falls off, causing Nozomi to once again lose consciousness, much to everyone's shock.
