Land of Greenery

The Land of Greenery (緑の郷, The Land of Greenery)^?, also known as Ocean Town Yuunagi (海原市夕凪, Ocean Town Yuunagi)^?, is the primary setting of Futari wa Pretty Cure Splash Star. "Land of Greenery" is the term Flappy and Choppy use to describe Hyuuga Saki and Mishou Mai's hometown.

It is a seaside town built on a hill with lush forests and suburban architecture. Some of the major buildings, such as the school, the library and the lecture hall are modernist, with cubic and pyramid shapes and large glass panels. The Yuunagi Middle School is built on the very top of the town hill.

A notable landmark is the Sky Tree (大空の樹, Sky Tree)^?, a large and mystical tree that is connected to the Land of Fountains. During a summer festival, the nine year old Saki and Mai met by chance under the tree while following the light of the spirits, and they also reunited under the tree five years later.^FwPCSS01

In the past, the tree was treasured as the town's guardian spirit. There are legends surrounding it, such as "praying to it will grant your wish", and that people who meet at the tree will form a strong bond.^FwPCSS14 Saki and Mai return to it many times for guidance and calmness.
