Summary[]

Kanoko is looking at pictures of a school reunion from 50 years ago and says that even if they drift apart they remain linked together. Mirai, Liko, and Kotoha then remember that they were going to meet with Kouchou, who is waiting outside complaining about how cold winters are in the No Magic World.

Orba tells Benigyo that "her" power is awakening, and he plans to reawaken the rest of Deusmast's generals. Benigyo asks how he will do this, and Orba says that soon she will understand why they were able to come back, and leaves with Sparda and Gamettsu.

The girls and Mofurun meet with Kouchou, who has been informed of the Magic and No Magic worlds having once been one world. The Magic Crystal has been unable to locate Kushe's forbidden tome, and Kouchou remembers trying to talk Kushe down from using it, to which Kushe coldly smacked him aside. As the girls to go get some strawberry melon bread, the Magic Crystal tells them of Kouchou's history with Kushe, and that his heart still aches from Kushe's betrayal.

When the girls return, Batty is sitting next to Kouchou, feeling like an empty shell for his failure while Yamoh can be seen watching from the trees in gecko form. Kouchou tells Batty that Dokurokushe, as Kushe, also was honest, focused, and had a stronger sense of duty than most others, and they must now find the tome so it cannot be used to bring misfortune to others.

Orba then appears with the tome, and teleports the girls and Kouchou to a spot in swirling clouds above, which Batty flies to. Orba says that this is a stage designed to revive the generals of Deusmast, and powers up Sparda and Gamettsu, telling them to use as much dark magic as they want. The girls transform into Pretty Cure (Topaz), and Gamettsu fights Felice to settle their rivalry while Sparda turns into a giant spider to fight Miracle and Magical.

Kouchou tries to take the tome back from Orba, who reveals that as he and the other generals were being sealed away, he scattered and hid away key information, which, when linked together, told of how to create negative power immense enough to envelop the world even in human hands, and Kushe played into his hands by finding this information and assembling it into the tome, calling it dark magic. Batty is shocked to learn that his and the other generals' birth was merely part of Orba's plan.

When Felice gains the upper hand against Gamettsu, Orba creates a Donyokubaru out of a clock and swings. Gamettsu is angry about this but Orba says that he cannot defeat Felice because she inherited Mother Rapapa's power. Miracle and Magical seemingly destroy Sparda, but her giant spider form was a decoy, allowing the real Sparda to take the tome from Orba and trap him with her webs, as she is intent on forging the world of darkness. Orba breaks free of the webs and transforms into an angelic form. He takes the tome back and knocks Sparda to the ground, saying that flooding the world of negative energy would erode the seals that Rapapa put in place, which was his plan, and what the world of darkness the Dark Magicians worked towards really was. The Dark Magicians' existence and motivation was purely to release Deusmast's generals.

Sparda is still intent on creating a world of darkness for herself while Gamettsu believes in his fists and power whatever happens. As they attack the Donyokubaru, Orba says that Deusmast's generals' resurrection was only halfway complete because the Dark Magicians were defeated by the Pretty Cure, forcing Orba to take the reins himself. He easily turns Sparda and Gamettsu back into a spider and turtle. Batty turns towards the Dokurokushe doll with Yamoh crawling on it.

Orba then explains that this stage absorbs the power power of those who fight on it and sends it into the dark tome, and that the Pretty Cure will fight the Donyokubaru next. However, Batty fuses Sparda, Gamettsu, Yamoh, and the Dokurokushe doll into a Yokubaru. As the Yokubaru fights the Donyokubaru, Orba says that dark magic's flaw is that it contains human emotion, making it an incomplete reproduction of mugic. Kouchou cannot believe that Kushe died for this. The Yokubaru punches the Donyokubaru into space, destroying it in a rainbow shockwave. Orba is shocked that his mugic could be beaten by worthless magic, but Felice says that it is not worthless; their hearts contain strength and earnest emotions, and the magic born from this can become incredible power. Orba angrily flies at her, but she, Miracle, and Magical destroy him with Extreme Rainbow. As he disintegrates, Orba releases the last of his power and that of the dark tome, in place of the Linkle Stones, to reawaken the other generals.

The world turns dark, while Batty, still in his humanoid form, hovers with Sparda, Gamettsu, and Yamoh, now separated back in their animal forms, and the Dokurokushe doll disintegrates. Batty bows his head in respect and leaves with Sparda, Gamettsu, and Yamoh. Kouchou opens the tome and finds a letter from Kushe at the beginning telling him that he will be delving into dark magic to avert the Calamity, and that he is prepared for what might happen to him at the end of his research, or for disagreements between them, and refused to involve Kouchou to protect him. Kouchou realizes that Kushe still cared for him.
