This is a page dedicated to the minor characters from the Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure! series.

Cat[]

The Cat (ネコ)? is a minor animal character that appeared a few times in the season since episode 1, and also in the opening themes Dokkin♢Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure! and Dokkin♢Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure! Part2. She is a wild female gold-eyed calico cat who lives in the No Magic World.

She temporarily gains the ability to speak in weird noises after Liko casts a spell on her. She has made minor appearances since, such as stealing the Linkle Stone Topaz and her fur being forcibly fused with a motorcycle into a Yokubaru by Sparda in episode 10.

As seen in the last episode, the cat has become a mother to two kittens of her own.

She is voiced by Hayami Saori, who voices Ha-chan/ Hanami Kotoha / Cure Felice in the same season, and Hisui in its sequel.

Gustav[]

GustavAsahi

Gustav (グスタフ)? is a recurring minor character, who is the owner of the broom shop at the Magic Shopping Street. He first appeared in episode 3. He is known to repair and remodel Magic Brooms, and even adds a little decoration to the brooms if he wants to.

Seven years later, Gustav tells Mirai and Liko that he is considering retirement in the near future.MTPCMD02

Gustav has dirty blonde hair, and orange eyes. He wears a blue cape around his shoulders with a gold rectangle brooch keeping it in place, a dark blue vest, a cream-colored shirt, a dirty blue apron around his waist, light brown long pants, and brown shoes.

He is voiced by Kimura Masafumi.

Todd[]

ToddToei

Todd (トッド)? is a recurring minor character, who is the owner of the fruit and vegetable shop at the Magic Shopping Street. He first appeared in episode 3. He is a kind and friendly man.

Todd has long brown hair tied into a low bun with a cream colored hat on his head. His eye color is green. He wears a lime colored cape around his shoulders with an apricot pink shirt underneath a dark green apron. He wears grey puffy pants and caramel brown ankle length boots.

Episode 27 revealed that his shop is a family business that has been passed down for 262 generations.

He is voiced by Suzuki Yūto.

Hook[]

HookAsahi

Hook (フック)? is a minor character from the Magic World, who first appeared in episode 3. He is a rather old man who loves to tell legends. He is known to tell people who come into town about legendary stories, but many find him boring.

Hook has grey hair with a caramel brown hat and his eye color is caramel brown. He wears a dark grey cape held together by a round gold brooch with a caramel brown tuxedo coat with a white shirt and red tie underneath. On the coat is a thin brown ribbon and he has brown ribbons near the cuffs on his sleeves. His pants are dark grey and puffy, he wears white tights and brown shoes with a gold buckle. He also carries around a brown walking stick.

He is voiced by Senda Mitsuo.

Isaac-sensei[]

IsaacAsahi

Isaac-sensei (アイザック先生)? is an elderly teacher in charge of teaching the tutoring classes at Magic School, who first appeared in episode 4. He is a warm and friendly teacher towards the students, but often finds his denture flying out his mouth. Due to his old age, he tends to be very forgetful.

He was the one who helped and advised Liko during her first class as a teacher.MTPCMD05

Isaac has white hair and a beard with a dark green hat on his head that has a lime-colored hem. He wears a dark green cape around his shoulders and a blue cloak with a gold trim on the sleeves that is lime colored on the inside. Under the cloak, he wears a yellow shirt, light red puffy pants, and brown boots.

He is voiced by Sakurai Toshiharu.

Shiina Ryuuichi[]

Shiina Ryuuichi (椎名龍一)? is a background character that was originally planned to have a larger role in the anime.

Shiina, a student at Tsunagi First Middle School, was supposed to act as a competitive rival to Izayoi Liko, and be popular with the girls in school, with the exception of her and Asahina Mirai. He was originally drafted to appear in the eleventh, thirteenth, thirty-fifth, and thirty-ninth episodes, but he was reduced to just a background role in the eleventh for unexplained reasons.[1]

Although Shiina's role was reduced, his design was finalized and kept in the anime. He has short black hair with matching eyes. His school uniform is distinct from the other male Tsunagi students, wearing a light blue vest with a white dress shirt and red tie underneath, gray trousers, and black shoes.

Takagi-sensei[]

Takagi-sensei (高木先生 Takagi-sensei)? is a math teacher at Tsunagi First Middle School, and also the homeroom teacher of Asahina Mirai, Izayoi Liko and Hanami Kotoha. He first appeared in episode 11.

Takagi-sensei has black hair with grey colored eyes. He is always seen wearing a blue jersey with red and white stripes on it. He wears grey sneakers with red laces.

He is voiced by Fujinuma Kento.

Mayumi's crush[]

Mayumi's crush is an unnamed male student from one of Tsunagi First Middle School's neighboring school, who appeared in episode 34. Mayumi fell in love with him after he helped her out during a rainy day. However, the boy is later revealed to have a girlfriend, and he apologizes to Mayumi for rejecting her before leaving.

He is a boy with black hair and brown eyes. He is seen wearing his school's male uniform.

He is voiced by Arthur Lounsbery.

Watanabe Mayu[]

Watanabe Mayu MTPC

Watanabe Mayu (渡辺 麻友)?, also called Mayu (マユ)? and Mayuyu (マユユ)?, is an idol in the No Magic World, who is a magician from the Magic World. She appeared in episode 38 as a co-host with Kouchou during the Pumpkin Festival.

As of ~MIRAI DAYS~, she is an entrepreneur who has leased an apartment in the No Magic World for Mirai and Liko to live with Hisui.MTPCMD05

Mayu has brown eyes, and brown hair donned with pink spherical accesories. She is dressed in hot pink top hat and cape, with light pink brims. Her hat has an additional ribbon. She wears a dress in different shades of pink, with light pink collar and pink shoulder ribbons, black bow, cuffs and accents, and dark pink buttons. She has black leggings, matched with a pair of red boots with pink ribbons and crosses. Her wand has a ribbon accessory.

She shares her given name with Kudou Mayu from Yes! Pretty Cure 5 and Heartcatch Pretty Cure!, and Nekoyashiki Mayu from Wonderful Pretty Cure!.

She is voiced by her real-life counterpart.

Pumpkin Bird[]

The Pumpkin Bird (カボチヤドリ)? is the mascot of the Pumpkin Festival in the Magic World, who appeared in episode 38. According to the legend, if anyone approaches the Pumpkin Bird, they are transformed into candy and sweets. However, if someone manages to catch it, they will earn a golden egg that can grant them a wish. Only Mofurun and another contestant had managed to catch it. The girls originally thought they were being selfish by trying to catch the Pumpkin Bird, but it turns out the Pumpkin Bird was only having a toothache and they actually enjoy being chased around. Its Golden Egg contains the rare Toothbrush Tree.

The Pumpkin Bird is a flying pumpkin with a black top hat laced with yellow accent, and a pair of wings. They have a mouth with yellow teeth, and hollowed eyes.

They are voiced by Kobayashi Keiko, who also voiced Dorothy, and Sara from the sequel.

Fairy Queen[]

MTPC43 The Fairy Queen arrives

The Fairy Queen (女王)? is the current queen of the Fairy Village, who first appeared in episode 43. She has only ruled the Fairy Village for three thousand years. Mentioned in episode 37, she is a good friend of Kouchou's.

When Chikurun returns to the Fairy Village, the Queen yells out to them and rushes to their side for an embrace. Chikurun tearfully holds her, then the Queen begins to poke their cheeks for being such a naughty child. Liko and Mirai quickly try to stop her while Chikurun wails an apology. She and the Legend Queen then serve the girls and Mofurun, and witness the Cures' battle against Sparda.

The Queen is a fairy with long blonde hair, wearing a crown with pink and purple petals adorned with a white flower centerpiece. She wears a choker with an orange jewel, a green dress with a wide white collar and white accents, donned with a red jewel and green leaves. She has light yellow wings, and navy blue eyes with yellow flower markings.

She is voiced by Yamamoto Yuriko.

Legend Queen[]

MTPC43 The Legend Queen is reminded of Mother RaPaPa as Felice smiles

Legend Queen (レジェンド女王)? is the previous queen of the Fairy Village, being the predecessor of the Fairy Queen.

She has lived for four thousand years, and had met Mother RaPaPa when she was a child. She is reminded of Mother RaPaPa when she watches how Cure Felice defends the Fairy Village.

The Legend Queen is an elderly fairy with white hair tied into a bun, light green wings, and lavender eyes with red flower markings. She wears a green and purple dress with yellow collar and cuffs, donned with a red jewel. As a child, her hair was lavender, and she wore a light green dress with white sleeves.

She is voiced by Oota Yoshiko.

Flare Dragon[]

The Flare Dragon (フレアドラゴン)? is a dragon who appeared in Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure!: Kiseki no Henshin! Cure Mofurun!. He becomes friends with Ha-chan during the Grand Magic Festival. Dark Matter later possesses him, turning him into an aggressive beast, before Cure Felice saves him and restores him to normal. He serves as the Cures' ride during their battle against Dark Matter's evil powers.

The Flare Dragon is a white dragon with red eyes, brown nose, yellow horns and talons, and large wings. His body becomes red and black, and his horns become crooked, when he is under Dark Matter's control.

He is voiced by Yamamoto Shouta.

Bear Cub[]

The Bear Cub (子グマ)? is a young female bear who appeared in Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure!: Kiseki no Henshin! Cure Mofurun!. She befriends Mofurun, and together they have fun with the bear cub's tribe. She and her tribe hide away when Kumata arrives. She, along with her tribe, then supports the Cures to fight against Dark Matter's pure evil form. She later accepts Kumata as her friend and lets him be part of the tribe.

The cub is a brown bear, with beige inner ears, eyebrows and belly. She has brown eyes.

She is voiced by Kikuchi Mika.

Noguchi Sara[]

Noguchi Sara (野口さら)? is Mirai's classmates and friend from university, who debuted in the sequel's first episode. Sara is seen discussing the mysterious Maho Girl with Rena, and is confused when Mirai runs away to Tsunagi Station after hearing about the bear monster.MTPCMD01Sara later comments on Mofurun during karaoke.MTPCMD05

Sara has navy blue hair with blue eyes. Her hair is styled in a shaggy bobcut, with a dark pink triangle hair clip on her left side. She wears an bright blue and yellow gradient hoodie. Sometimes she carries a dark blue satchel.

Sara is voiced by Kobayashi Keiko, who also voiced Dorothy and Pumpkin Bird from the first Mahou Tsukai! season.

Tanizaki Rena[]

Tanizaki Rena (谷崎れな)? is Mirai's classmates and friend from university, who debuted in the sequel's first episode. Rena is seen discussing the mysterious Maho Girl with Sara, and is confused when Mirai runs away to Tsunagi Station after hearing about the bear monster.MTPCMD01Rena later goes to karaoke with Sara and Mirai, and even sings Dokkin♢Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure! Part2 with Mirai.MTPCMD05

Rena has maroon hair with red eyes. Her curly hair is partially tied backwards with a greenish silver clip. She wears a green blouse with yellow buttons, and a dark green long skirt. She sometimes carries a light pink purse.

Rena is voiced by Sawada Miharu, who voiced Nancy from the first season.

Danpa[]

Danpa (ダンパ)? is a pet cat that appeared in the sequel's fourth episode. According to her young owner, she is a four-year-old cat with a gentle demeanor. She is found by Lian, who leads her to the girls, at the end of the same episode. She is also an acquaintance of the Cat's.

Danpa is a beige cat with black face and body markings. She also has blue eyes and yellow sclerae. She has a hot pink collar with an attached bow around her neck.

Ire's Mother[]

Ire's mother was a woman from the Magic World, who raised Ire in the No Magic World. She first appeared in an obscured photograph in the sequel's third episode, before appearing in Ire's flashback in the sequel's sixth episode.

She was a woman with a brown bobcut and eyes. She wore a beige cardigan, a grey undershirt, a long dull orange skirt, and a blue spherical pendant around her neck. She had a close relationship with her son, but she would later die of an unknown cause.

She is voiced by Kawasumi Ayako.
