Maruyama Kyousei (円山教生)? is a minor character who appears in Healin' Good♥Pretty Cure. He is Nodoka, Chiyu and Hinata's homeroom teacher, and is the father of Maruyama Kouta. He teaches science at Sukoyaka Middle School.

Appearance[]
Kyousei has short grayish-brown hair and wears glasses that hide his eyes. He wears a white dress shirt with an olive green tie underneath a blue and white track suit. On his feet, he wears pale olive green socks with green and brown shoes.
Personality[]
Kyousei is a kind man who will do anything to help others. He also cares deeply about the wellbeing of his students and Kouta.
Relationships[]
- Maruyama Kouta: His son. Kyousei loves his son deeply, even going as far as to protect Kouta regardless of dangers.
History[]
He takes his students to the Sukoyaka Museum as part of an assignment. However, a Megabyogen appears, so he quickly evacuates the students from the building.HGPC10 He runs up to Nodoka and the others, sobbing happily since he finally found them.HGPC11
He later makes a major appearance in episode 30, where he accompanies his son, Kouta to Sukoyaka Zoo. He mainly spends the episode explaining to Kouta about why the girls having different interests is a good thing. However, when a Megabyogen attacks, he tells Kouta to go to the exit before running off to help anyone who might be still in the zoo. Later, he stands between Kouta and the Nanobyogen, becoming a Gigabyogen in the process.HGPC30
He spends most of the time as a Gigabyogen, but once the Cures purify him, he is able to reunite with Kouta.HGPC31
He is among the people affected when King Byogen infects the EarthHGPC43, but later joins the rest to support the Cures. After knowing the identities of the Cures, he decides to keep it a secret and tells Masuko Michio to refrain from publishing it in the newspaper.HGPC44
