The Melody Tambourine (メロディタンバリン Merodi Tanbarin)? is an item appearing in HUGtto! Pretty Cure. The Melody Tambourine is a heart shaped tambourine which is used by Hana and her friends to make music. Hana is usually seen using it in order to cheer up others, especially Hugtan.
Appearance[]
The standard version of the tambourine is pink colored and has a big pink heart in the center. It has four bells attached to the top which are blue, purple, yellow and red colored. The second version of the tambourine has a purple colored body, while the hear is red colored. The four bells are red and purple colored.
Uses[]
The Melody Tambourine first appeared in episode 5 and was used by Hana in order to cheer up everyone's mood. After that, the tambourine was used several times in order to brighten everyone's mood. The girls usually use it in order to cheer up Hugtan. In episode 39, Hugtan plays it when she learns how to dance. She also plays it to get the Cures to hear her so they can escape the Infinite Labyrinth dimension Listol trapped them in. The Cures can also be seen playing them during the two ending themes.
A purple version of the tambourine is occasionally used by Ruru when she is performing with Emiru as part of the idol group Twin Love.
