Mermaid Aqua Pot (マーメイドアクアポット)?, or Aqua Pot (アクアポット)? for short, is an item owned by Laura that can be used to take back stolen Motivation Power. She also lives in it, while staying with Natsuumi Manatsu, in her mermaid form.
Appearance[]
The Mermaid Aqua Pot is a turquoise tablet with a magenta bow at the top. It has a white shell button, as well as a pink trim around the screen.
Uses[]
Laura uses the Mermaid Aqua Pot to travel to different places, and to detect Motivation Power inside of a Yaraneeda and retrieve it, as well as return it to those who have gotten it stolen. She also uses it to store things, such as a Tropical Pact, Manatsu's lipstick, and even an entire outfit as demonstrated in the movie. It can also be used as a camera to take bubble-shaped photos. Kururun also sometimes lives in the pot to rest when not staying in the human world.
Trivia[]
- In Episode 35, it was revealed that only Laura can use the pot to retrieve Motivation Power. While others may attempt to access it, any power they manage to take will remain in the pot until Laura retrieves more.
- The Animage January 2022 issue revealed that the interior design for the Mermaid Aqua Pot was widened as needed for ease of animation and story. In the beginning, staff member Yokotani Masahiro only imagined a bed and sofa inside of it, but then Murase Aki suggested that it also made sense that someone who lived in the ocean would need a wide space.
