Hi there. I just notice your (rather great) profile and I wanted to thank you since it helped me arranged the userboxes of my personal favorite Cures, which has been a personal problem for me. I appreciate it.
I hope you don't mind me suddenly jumping into your message box. I was just wondering if you could go over my very bad description of George? It's that I wanted to describe him but I just couldn't find the right words. And in the end, you are the person who is best at describing things. Or at least, the best person I know ^^
I know that you are currently making your way through this wiki to update descriptions and the last thing I want is to break your routine with edits. It'd be totally alright if you look at it once you find the time to.
Oh thank you, I orginally wrote those but every time I try to get back into the series I end up re-starting over. I know I should be focusing on those card pages I never finished, but I was pretty behind on the series itself and decided now is a good time to get back into it.
Thank you, and yes I have to admit it WOULD be a lot quicker and easier. However, after a recent incident on another wiki, I would be too afraid to copy them without permission DX I had to learn the lesson the hard way when I made an innocent mistake and really didn't know I did something wrong.
Also, on the wiki we have to put the images together front and back in a single image. That was how it was done before I started, and it takes less space. On most websites I find, they only have them in singles, so I'd still be stuck screenshotting them.
It's just a few minutes work. Which sets do you still need?
And how do you want them to look? The same size as the examples on the website (i.e. 117×170px) or larger?
With space between the two sides, or not?
Transparency for the corners (so that you can make the background whatever color you want), or not?
Sorry for the wait, um... Size doesn't really matter, as they will still be on a small scale in the boxes themselves (because the boxes are already big). In terms of space, it doesn't really matter, and transparency would be wonderful.
As for what I need, I did several already, but there's several series left, too. So looking at the next series (I'm on DD3, the next is DD4), the cards are on a bigger scale already, so do you think you could you do the 5th and 6th Doki Doki collections? I can provide links to the official web pages for them if you're not sure what you're looking for.
No problem. I've uploaded a zip file of all the double-sided DDPC cards here. Yes, that's all seven sets. I figure you don't need to replace the single-sided promo cards, so I left those out. Let me know when you've downloaded it so I can remove the link.
I noticed that, but I can't translate that stuff so it doesn't do me any good, and nobody really wants to help me with it either. I tried to look for help a few times and I got nothing. I can only do so much on my own XD
Anyway, if you'd like to that would be great. I'm going to try to finish the set I'm on, then go back to add these better cards to the collections that don't have bigger cards.
The sizes are fine, don't worry XD what I meant was that recently an incident occured. I was told I could use card images from a website for another series, but long story short, I wasn't and they got really mad and accused me of theft. I tried to explain it was only an accident and that I didn't realize there was a problem, but it took a good while before they finally settled on something with me.
Nah, don't worry about older sets XD I'd rather focus on the ones I'll need to do/coming up. I'm terribly active on quite a few wikia so its easier to focus on what I need to do rather then what isn't as important or can wait.
I see you uploaded the new versions with the filenames I used, instead of uploading them as replacements for the old versions.
While it would've been a lot of work to replace each individual image, uploading ones with different filenames means that the old versions are still on the wiki, just not used anywhere. So as not to waste storage space, better ask an admin to delete the old images.
Re: your update summary just now:
> I realized due to how many cards there is, it would be better organizing them by what they are released from. I don't know what it is though- so I could only do initials.
The "PAHC" part of the cards' serial numbers just indicates that they're promotional and for HappinessCharge. So that's not really useful info if you're already on that page.
The プロモ (puromo, promo?) / ガシャポン (gashapon,ガシャポン?) part indicates where the card came from. The "Promo" ones were given out/released for a whole bunch of different events and things, the "Gashapon" ones were included with what the website describes as locket pendants (some kind of small toy?).
Unless you want to list under each card for which event or toy or snack it was, I'd stick with your usual grouping by clothing type.
The HC-(1,2,3)-# cards are exactly the same as the cards from the regular sets of HapCha cards. They're only listed on the promotional cards page because these card numbers were additionally included with chocolate snacks. It's probably best to only list them here on the pages for those sets, not on the promotional cards page. It'd be confusing to have the same cards show up on two different pages. Just add a note that card numbers such and such were also used promotionally.
Oh no no no XD that wasn't what I meant at all. I was just confused because with the last promotional series I did I think you suggested I list them by what they are released from, not what types they are.
Yes, I still think grouping them by how they were released (although just as "set 1", "set 2", "promotional", not split out for each litle promo thing) instead of clothing type is better because that's how I imagine people look them up.
But if you're going to stick with grouping by clothing type, it's probably best to be consistent with it.
