Motivation Power

Motivation Power (やる気パワー, Motivation Power)^? is the main source of motivation in the setting of Tropical-Rouge! Pretty Cure.

Characteristics and Powers[]

Motivation Power is a kind of untouchable force that comes in multiple colors. However, some of them can be physical if they are in collective quantities, and can be put in containers. Anybody who loses Motivation Power will be too unmotivated to do anything. The Cures will also be unable to transform if they have lost their Motivation Power.

Only the Witch of Delays' servants, who are Chongire, Numeri, Elda and Butler, can extract Motivation Power to summon Yaraneeda. Before a Yaraneeda is purified, Laura can use the Mermaid Aqua Pot to locate and reclaim the stolen Motivation Power, returning it to the affected victims. However, anyone who misuses the Mermaid Aqua Pot will end up causing the collected Motivation Power to remain inside the pot, until Laura retrieves more Motivation Power.

Stolen Motivation Power was stored in the Fool's Casket, which was used to transform Butler into a monstrous Yaraneeda.

When people's Motivation Power get stolen, they will be surrounded by a dark purple aura, before becoming very unmotivated. Conversely, they will be glowing in bright colorful particles when they retrieve their Motivation Power.

Although Motivation Power usually gets stolen by external forces, a person, such as Butler, can still lose their Motivation Power if they have been terribly defeated or devastated. Conversely, a person who has their Motivation Power stolen can still regain it, if they undergo a strong surge of motivation.

Trivia[]

Manatsu, Sango, Minori and Asuka all have their Motivation Power stolen at least once. Out of the Tropical-Rouge! Cures, Manatsu has the most instances of having her Motivation Power stolen.
- Oppositely, Laura is the only Cure who never has her Motivation Power stolen.
