Nagomi Akiho

Nagomi Akiho (和実あきほ)^? is a minor character from Delicious Party♡Pretty Cure. She is Yui's mother. She works at Nagomi Diner.

Bio

Appearance

Akiho has brown hair tied into a low ponytail. She wears a pale yellow 3/4 sleeved blouse, jeans with green and pink patchworks on her left leg, and magenta sneakers. When she's at work, she wears a peach pink colored apron, and cloth on her head.

Personality

Akiho is energetic and kind. She is also interested in cosmetology.

Relationships

Nagomi Yui: Her daughter. Yui is really close with her, as she tells Akiho whatever is on her mind.
Rosemary: They bond over their interest in cosmetology.

History

Akiho makes a meal for Rosemary, but lets him wash the dishes after he insists he can't eat the meal for free. She later tells Yui to go with Takumi to eat some omurice.^DPPC01

Akiho lets Yui keep Kome-Kome as a pet despite initially being confused by Kome-Kome's species. She later has a dinner with Yui and Rosemary, where she and Rosemary start bonding over cosmetology.^DPPC02

Akiho checks on the girls' meat sauce, and is happy that they are confident with their own cooking. She is surprised when Kokone's mother visits the diner. After listening to Hatsuko's problem about struggling to understand Kokone, Akiho reassures and encourages Hatsuko to share food with Kokone as a way to reconnect with each other.^DPPC23

Due to Godatz stealing all food, Akiho can't remember how to cook, but along with Hikaru, Akiho encourages Yui by explaining how Yone named her. Thanks to Yui's courage, Akiho remembers that rice balls exist and is happy to have food back.^DPPC43 She and Hikaru are then surprised that their lucky cat protects them from the Mini Spiritorus that attempt to steal it. ^DPPC44 She is last seen telling Yui to help her sell vegetable rice bowls during the festival in Oishiina Town.^DPPC45

Trivia

In episode 38, it's revealed that she kept her surname, while her husband, Hikaru adopted it.
- The same episode revealed that she had undergone chef training 20 years ago.
Akiho's first voice actor, Nakamura Chie, stepped down from the role after episode 34 in order to recover from her ulcerative colitis. ^[1]
