Etymology[]
Nagomi (和実 )?: Nago (和 )? means "calmness", "gentleness" or "inner peace"[1]. However, 和 is most likely being associated with Japanese culture, for example "Japanese clothing" (和服 )? or "Japanese food" (和食 )?[2]. Mi (実 )? simply means "fruitation" or "crops" [3]. Therefore, 和実 means "Japanese crop".
Yone (よね )?: Has various meanings depending on the context it's used. One of them includes the word "rice".[4]
History[]

Later on, Miyako and Takao mention how Yone was the founder of Oishiina Town's symbol, the lucky cat, and how Yone was the reason why they became a couple. They also mentioned how Yone was able to do many things with ease, like catching tuna with her bare hands.DPPC30
