Diamantes Nakewameke

Nakewameke Diamonds

The Nakewameke (ナケワメーケ)? are the main monsters of Fresh Pretty Cure! used to cause chaos and misery. These creatures play the role of the monsters-of-the-day, similar to the Zakenna, Uzaina, Kowaina and Hoshina in the preceding series. Unlike most magical girl anime, most of the choice of monsters in this season are robots. Each of the diamond shape colours depends who summoned it: Eas' are dark red, Westar's are yellow and Soular's are dark green.

Eas is given the Nakisakebe (ナキサケーベ )? after a while, but the rest still used Nakewameke until being passed the Sorewatase (ソレワターセ)?, and even then still used Nakewameke once in a while. After Westar and Soular have joined the Cures' side, they are able to summon a new type of monsters, the Hohoemina (ほほえみな), currently the only non-villainous monsters in the Pretty Cure franchise.

For unknown reasons, while it is traditional for the battleground to return to its ordinary state when the monster of the day is defeated, Fresh Pretty Cure! does not follow this tradition often.

The Nakewameke, Nakisakebe, Sorewatase, and Hohoemina are voiced by the same person, Nakano Shintarou.

Nakisakebe[]

Eas receives the Nakisakebe card

The Nakisakebe (ナキサケーベ)? is the monster used by Eas exclusively. She received it in a form of card from Moebius. The card can only be used four times.

The Nakisakebes are more powerful and faster creatures than the Nakewamekes. However, using the Nakisakebe card is a double-edged sword, as the user will experience intense pain from thorny vines that grow on their arm as time passes. Only by defeating a Nakisakebe can the vines be eliminated.

The Nakisakebes appears more monstrous than Nakewamekes and are less like the object it was created from. Also, they make constant groaning noises.

Etymology[]

  • Nakewameke's name can mean "cry and shout".
  • Nakisakebe's name can mean "cry and shout in anguish".
  • Sorewatase's name can mean "give me that".
  • Hohoemina's name can mean "smile".

Trivia[]

  • The Nakewameke, Nakisakebe, Sorewatase are the first monsters:
    • Who are created to primarily attack civilians rather than fight the Pretty Cure.
    • Whose name does not end with the syllable -na.
      • The Hohoemina are the first monsters to be courteous and join forces with Pretty Cure and their allies.
        • The origin of the first Hohoemina could be possibly from Cure Angel Passion's feather, so being created by the original Labyrinth trio: Eas, who is the origin, Westar, who has taken the feather, and Soular, who has actually summoned the Hohoemina.
        • The second Hohoemina has its origin from Cure Angel Pine's feather and is summoned by Westar.
  • In the Italian dub, the Nakewameke make robotic noises when they speak.
  • Only episodes 36, 41 and 42 have shown Sorewatase being defeated with a Fresh attack or Happiness Hurricane.
