Natsuumi Taiyo (夏海大洋)? is a minor character from Tropical-Rouge! Pretty Cure. He is Manatsu's father and Aoi's husband.
Bio
Appearance
Taiyo is a muscular man with short brown hair and green eyes. He is often seen wearing a yellow t-shirt with a blue fish design on it and blue shorts with brown flip-flops. He also has a light blue towel across his shoulders.
Personality
Taiyo is a positive man who works at a scuba diving shop. He believes it is important to do what you want to do in the moment, instead of delaying the thought.
Relationships
- Natsuumi Aoi: His wife. They met when they were younger, after Aoi wished to have a magical encounter and placed a wishing stone in the ocean where Taiyo happened to be scuba diving in. Despite them being in a long-distance relationship, they are still very close.
- Natsuumi Manatsu: His daughter. He always encourages her to be motivated by doing what she wants in the moment.
History
Taiyo makes a brief appearance to say farewell to Manatsu, as she leaves to live in Aozora City with her mother.TRPC01
When he and Aoi join the girls in making wishes, where Aoi reveals that she met Taiyo for the first time after she placed her wishing stone into the water.TRPC23
He and Aoi have a gathering with Manatsu and her friends where he tells the girls that he used to want to be a fire engine, patrol car, pirate, chef and singer, before settling down with his scuba diving business.TRPC34
Taiyo is worried about Manatsu as he can't get in contact with her, so he calls Aoi to ask about their daughter's whereabouts, though Aoi tells him that Manatsu will be fine.TRPC45
