Nekoyashiki Sumire (猫屋敷すみれ)? is a minor character from Wonderful Pretty Cure!. She is Mayu's mother, and the owner of Animal Town's Pretty Holic.

Appearance[]
Sumire has brown hair that falls just above her shoulders and striking red eyes. She is dressed in a yellow blouse featuring dark yellow frills at the bottom of her sleeves, and a dark yellow ribbon sash tied around her waist. Her long skirt is olive green, and she wears brown shoes. She wears long rectangular golden earrings.
Personality[]
According to Mayu, Sumire is outgoing and adventurous. She can also be an airhead. She is easygoing, and accepting of surprising occurrences.
Relationships[]
- Nekoyashiki Mayu: Her daughter. Sumire is very encouraging and caring of Mayu, and is happy to know that Mayu has made new friends.
- Nekoyashiki Yuki: Her pet cat. Sumire gets along with Yuki, and is very accepting after knowing that Yuki can transform into a human.
- Nekoyashi Takayuki: Her husband. Sumire has a good relationship with him, and is supportive of his job and passion as a photographer.
History[]
Sumire first appears sweeping away the leaves while humming a cat song. She expresses to Mayu her excitement for Pretty Holic's grand opening. When Iroha arrives to visit the store, Sumire allows her inside but tells her Komugi can't enter as dogs aren't allowed inside. After Iroha returns with a human girl also named Komugi, Sumire offers Iroha a makeover, but when three ladies walk in, Sumire asks Mayu to do the makeover instead. When serving the ladies some drinks, they politely tell Sumire to ask them anything if she has any questions about Animal Town, which Sumire is grateful for. Sumire then bids farewell to Iroha and Komugi and hopes they'll come back to the store again.WPC04
When Komugi, Iroha and Satoru are searching for Cure Nyammy, they ask if Sumire herself is the mysterious Cure. However, Sumire is clueless about what they asked, and goes on her merry way.WPC13 Upon learning that Mayu has made friends with Iroha, Sumire is happy for her daughter and allows Mayu to have a sleepover at the Inukai family's house.WPC14
Sumire reminiscences about Mayu being a baby when Mayu tells her about the baby animal tour, and describes Yuki as Mayu's older sister.WPC18 When Mayu doubts her relationship with Yuki, Sumire reminds her daughter about the lillian bracelet she received from her, and that Mayu's designs have the power to make people happy.WPC19
When helping Mayu prepare for the Star Festival, Sumire learns that Yuki can transform into a human. Despite being surprised, Sumire happily accepts the fact, and helps Yuki put on a yukata. Sumire then tells Mayu that moving to Animal Town is more amazing than she thought.WPC23
