Official Wallpapers

Over the years, Toei Animation and Japanese broadcaster TV Asahi have released official wallpapers for many seasons of Pretty Cure. The wallpapers from TV Asahi were released monthly and included a calendar highlighting the air dates of that month's Pretty Cure episodes (For later seasons, they would also release versions of these wallpapers without the calendar).

The Pretty Cure Online website launched with Fresh Pretty Cure! in 2009, and provided wallpapers for each new series through the end of Star☆Twinkle Pretty Cure. There were at least three wallpapers made for each episode, but only the first of these could be downloaded without a website login.

Wallpapers were also available via Pretty Cure Garden, a Pretty Cure information website created by Toei Animation. The website launched with Fresh Pretty Cure! in 2009, and continued to be updated through at least HUGtto! Pretty Cure.^[1]

All of Pretty Cure Garden's wallpapers were available in 4 sizes: s (1024x768), m (1280x800), l (1280x1024), ll (1920x1200)

As of August 3, 2023, Pretty Cure Garden has shut down and now redirects to the Pretty Cure website. However, wallpapers from Pretty Cure Garden can still be found by manipulating the URL.

The Filenames from the Pretty Cure Garden website all have the following format:

Official wallpapers have also been distributed by other companies involved with different aspects of the Pretty Cure franchise. For example, a handful of wallpapers were released by Carddass during the Yes! Pretty Cure 5 GoGo! era of the Pretty Cure Data Carddass Series.

Additionally, wallpapers for the Taiwanese dub of Heartcatch Pretty Cure! were distributed via the Funbox Toys website.^[2] Wallpapers for several of the Korean dubs were also made and could be downloaded from Daewon Media's Pretty Cure Land website.^[3] Both of these websites are now defunct.

More recently, phone wallpapers have been distributed via the official Pretty Cure LINE account (@precure).
