Refi

Refi (レフィ Refi)^? is a character who appears in the Go! Princess Pretty Cure: Go! Go!! Gouka Sanbon Date!!! film. Her true identity is the doll of Pumplulu Princess and the princess of the Night Kingdom.

Appearance[]

Refi has magenta eyes with long russet brown hair that has a lighter gradient so far down and is partially worn loose, with the rest pulled into a curled side-tail held by a big fuchsia bow. Her bangs are evenly spread with a smaller section off-center.

She is shown wearing a pale pink sleeveless dress with accents of gold and a segment of hot pink fabric going down the middle to line the fuchsia, floral pattern skirt. Going down the middle of this is a gold zipper with a stylized pull and a row of buttons on the left. Sticking out from the bottom is a white ruffled skirt, and on the back of the navel is a large hot pink bow with tails made with floral fabric and trim with hot pink ruffles. Around the shoulder is pale pink fabric or hood with hot pink lining, held by a gold and magenta sun emblem. She also wears white opera gloves with a pale pink wrist cuff lined in hot pink, black tights, and thigh-length burgundy boots with a gold sole and pale pink cuff. On the ankle is a fuchsia bow and sun emblem.

As a child, Refi had shorter hair and didn't have a bow on her head.

Personality[]

Refi is a brave girl who is willing to do anything to protect her kingdom. There are times when she gets really scared and loses hope, but with some help from her friends, she regains the courage to keep going.

History[]

Pretty Cure and Refi's Wonder Night![]

Refi originally lived in the Night Kingdom with her parents, until Night Pumpkin invaded it and robbed all of its light. Refi would later become a doll owned by Pumplulu Princess, who would later give her to Haruno Haruka.

One day, Refi summons Haruka for help and transports her and the other Cures to the Night Kingdom. After escaping from a hoard of Zetsuborgs, she explains how her kingdom had lost its light and believes that they can help her use the Miracle Princess Light to bring back the lost daylight.

After the Cures agree to help her, she distracts the Zetsuborgs with her song so that the Cures can reach the tower. She then remembers how her mother used to watch the sunlight with her on the terrace and becomes emotional as she tells Flora that her parents had been imprisoned by Night Pumpkin. But Flora encourages her which gives Refi the strength to carry on their mission.

Refi and the Cures then face Night Pumpkin who is stronger than they can handle. Although Flora and Refi manage to reach the top, Night Pumpkin arrives to have his final showdown with them, so they are forced to jump off, with Night Pumpkin stealing Refi's Miracle Light. However, Flora stands up and refuses to give up, giving Refi the strength to continue. After managing to bite Night Pumpkin to retrieve her light, Refi rushes to the top and inserts the light into the keyhole, ultimately banishing Night Pumpkin and restoring the daylight.

She is last seen with her mother watching the Cures' performance on stage.

Hana and Refi's Adventure[]

Ten years later, Refi wants someone to record her adventures with the Go! Princess Cures and the defeat of Night Pumpkin. Unfortunately, due to Sonomiya Hana writing down her dream about Refi in a suspicious notebook, Refi gets erased by Night Pumpkin's residual energy. She is later revived after the Cures defeat Night Pumpkin once again.

Abilities[]

As revealed in the novel Hana and Refi's Adventure, Refi can use a special power named "Lartu", which means "wish". Such power can create a new form and Princess Perfume for the Go! Princess Cures to perform the purification attack Pretty Cure Royal Eternal (プリキュア・リヤン・エテルネル, Pretty Cure Royal Eternal)^?.
